No, they're all phonies and liars, who care more about the welfare of themselves, and their big pocket books.

Actually though, keep in mind too, that a lot of Repubs aren't much better either.

"Has the democrat Congress done what they said they would do"

I hope you realize that's exactly bin Laden's argument for why democracy doesn't work

Yes, I can believe the Democratic candidates. The Democrats in Congress have done a pretty good job so far considering they have only 50 votes in the Senate and need 60 to get a bill to the floor for a vote, and they need 67 votes to override Bush's vetoes. The House is short 33 votes to override a veto.

The solution is: Republicans need to stop obstructing good bills and the people's will to bring back our troops, or we wait till 2008 when the Democrats have a larger majority.

Can you believe ANY politician?

Why is your question directed at a particular party? Politicians lie for a living. Think about what they juggle in a day. It's impossible to live up to all the promises that the public requires. The simple fact is that the system doesn't work well. The sooner we face it, the sooner we can change it. As Americans, we need to have realistic expectations of our leaders. As a politician, you should be held to those responsibilities.

Regardless of your party affiliation. Period.

They've been serving the country since January'07. Bush has had over 4 1/2 years to get this war right and hasn't. Actually, most believe the Republicans are the ones incapable of telling the truth.

I once thought you could believe democrats when they told you their name, then "Tipper" Gore came along... now I don't even trust them not to use aliases.
The only plan they had was to turn everyone against the republicans and take control of Congress.

Increased minimum wage, increased grants for higher education and reduced interest on college loans, passed health care insurance bill for children (promptly vetoed by Bush). All despite Republican opposition. This is a short list.
The Democrats need a larger majority in 2008 and when they get it we will see G.W's mess in Iraq come to an end.

When they don't have enough of a majority to vote down a Bush veto and the GOP blocking all their attempts at reform?

I know when the Republicans lose even more seats next year,a reckoning will be coming....

Your question shouldn't be aimed at the Democrats...

It should be aimed at the bureaucrats...
