Sociopaths and narcissists never admit they're wrong or sorry. I have yet to hear one ounce of regret from ANY Bushie for the estimated 500,000 CIVILIAN deaths in Iraq. I believe the US SHOULD make amends to the INNOCENTS killed by our mistakes. Not every Arab or Muslim or Iraqi is a terrorist - but treating them like one will make them one.
Should we apologize for bombing a sovereign nation with NO CONNECTION TO 9/11 and NO CONNECTION TO AL QUEDA? Absolutely.
Should we be hunting down and killing those responsible for bombing the World Trade Center? Absolutely.
We let them slip away in Tora Bora because we misplaced our priorities. Now they are in Iraq (because we opened the door), Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Denmark, and probably the US. Instead of finishing one job, we took on another.
I find it interesting that you think that we shouldn't apologize for killing innocent people. That makes us no better than that which we despise...
Simply because Al Queda attacked us unprovoked does not mean that we can attack another unrelated nation unprovoked.
Any innocent injured by an act of war deserves an apology. However, it takes a big man to admit a mistake, and an even bigger one to apologize for it. I won't hold my breath...

Well...first of all, we can only control what WE do as a country. Would you feel better if folks 'demanded' an apology from Bin Laden? Sure...I'll demand it: Bin Laden, I demand an apology. Feel better? I'd feel better if Bush actually went and got HIM instead of flying his family out of the country and starting a war in a place that we should never have gone in the first place. 9-11-01 was a CRIME that should be tried as such. We have killed thousands and thousands of INNOCENT Iraqi's. FAR more people than were killed on 9-11-01. We are now just as guilty as killing Innocent people including women and children as they are of killing our people. It was FAR from unprovoked as well. Our blind support of Israel over the years, our building bases in countries to establish long term military outposts where they are not welcome, etc. What if, for example, Iran wanted to set up a military base in the US? I bet lots of people would be against it. Or even if the Saud's wanted to build a base here. Our ignoring UN resolutions against Israel, and picking and choosing which UN resolutions we will support. It's hypocrisy. As the most powerful country in the world, we will be a target and we have to make sure that we act in a consistent and fair way to both set an example for the world and to ensure our own safety. THAT would do more than any military action ever would...not being hypocrites and being consistent in following ALL UN resolutions. Is it really that hard to understand?

Liberals don't want Al Qaeda to apologize, they want Bin Laden and his Afghanistan/Pakistan terrorists captured and killed, preferably by our military. That was the original mission, and Bush abandoned it to pursue his dream of conquering Iraq.
I have never heard anyone say the US should apologize to Iraq, that's just divisive, conservative nonsense.

Because we are realistic enough to know we will never get an apology from the sociopaths known as Al Queda. But we don't expect our government to become sociopaths just like al qaeda and bomb a country and a people that had nothing to do with 9/11 or terrorism or attacking our country. Al Qaeda and Iraq are not the same. why should the people of Iraq suffer for what Al Qaeda did? Answer that one RLP.
BTW, we liberals also want Al Qaeda caught we don't give a crap about an apology from them. They weren't in Iraq to begin with. They were in Afghanistan and most of us and the rest of the world were for hunting them down and ousting the Taliban for harboring them. Now, answer my question.

why would any Liberal want an apology from Al Qaeda. It is the Liberals that want those involved in 9-11 to be hunted down and punished.
It is people like you that want to pick some random country and attack them in response to 9-11

1- just because they did something wrong doesn't mean we should.
we should be better than that
2- once again- two wrongs don't make a right but we've been bombing the middle east for age. they were provoked
3- there is no excuse for attacking citizens. period.
4- I don't excuse what they did

The liberals have some how brainwashed some to think that Iraq is not part of the war on terror. That's like saying Europe was not part of WWII since they did not attack us.
ignorance is bliss
Look, if Bush could walk on water, the liberals would say he can not swim.
History will remember G.W. Bush as a great leader and the Democrats will be remembered as poor pathetic political opportunists.
Sorry if the truth hurts.......... but then the dems could never get elected on truth.

I am Liberal, and I don't want the conservative AL Queda to apologize for their acts of terror, I want them to die slowly and painfully.
Why do conservatives want Al Queda to survive at all? Is it because you are both conservative?
