When you get those preprinted with your name return address labels from the Disabled Vets Admin do you:

A) Throw them away because you aren't sending them money and you didn't ask for them to begin with, and using them would be wrong if you feel that way.

B) Keep them and use them year round, but don't send any money for them, because you didn't ask for them to send them to you anyway and well...tuffski shitsko...maybe they'll learn and stop sending them to you.

C) Keep them and send a donation, because it's the right thing to do.

D) You donate to them anyway, so getting the labels is a nice plus.

Sorry, not really a serious political question is it? Ah well, brain needed a rest for a few minutes ;-).

I have allways wondered Why do Most black people vote for Democrats? I'm white and have talked to alot black people in my life time and most seem to have Old fashion Christian values, such as against abortion, against same-sex marriage and the acceptance of homosexuality into mainstream society.
I'm sure many people will say it because of Republicans like Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, and Rush Limbaugh. But those people need a history lesson. Did you know Until 1935, every black federal legislator was Republican. America's first black U.S. Representative, South Carolina's Joseph Rainey, and our first black senator, Mississippi's Hiram Revels, both reached Capitol Hill in 1870. On December 9, 1872, Louisiana Republican Pinckney Benton Stewart "P.B.S." Pinchback became America's first black governor.
Here's another, January 26, 1922: The U.S. House adopted Rep. Leonidas Dyer's (R., Mo.) bill making lynching a federal crime. Filibustering Senate Democrats killed the bill. I have more

The dogs siezed in the Micheal Vick case are going to be euthanized. Those nuts at PETA condone this. But they were screaming there heads off when they were fighting. What happened to everythings "right to live", or do they only have the right to live when we tell them they are socially acceptable.

It seems to be a vicious cycle. It also seems like we are just creating more and more resentment towards the West, which was really a big part of the Jihad's beef with the US and the West in the first place. Our involvment just seems so counter-productive.

Or are the American people just that gullible? (RE: the Iraq war)

Which is it? Or does Bush just like to pick certain pieces of history that he can spin to match whatever it is he is trying to con the American people into thinking what he does about Iraq is actually right?

Are Americans that dumb to actually believe Bush after 6 years of deceit about the war & his failure to win it?

We have a significant portion of our population that has chosen to hate for the last 6 1/2 years. They hate our President so much that they have made the irrational decision to root against their own country. As of today, the only way they can be right is for America to suffer defeat in Iraq or pull out with our tails between our legs. They are quick to deny any good news from Iraq and try to drown out any good news with something negative, to prove to the world that America is being justly punished.
They are proof that hatred is a cancer that rots the soul. And they are hurting our country.

It is sad....I'm afraid voters will simply go with the dems out of spite for the republicans. I am hoping Rudy has a fighting chance but I still have this nagging feeling that no one running as a Republican has a shot in hell no matter how good they could serve the country. What do you think?

2007-08-22 14:24:55 · 21 answers · asked by Anonymous

We won Veitnam because we stuck with it and where persistant.
We would'nt have such good relations with them know if it was'nt for the good work of our troops in China.
This is why we should have a draft.
What say you?

When we were on the way in, the Iraq invasion was going to be the antithesis of the Viet Nam fiasco; Rumsfeld flatly declared "I don't do quagmires".

Now comes Bush to say that we can't pull out of Iraq because it would be as great a disaster as our pullout from Viet Nam was.

My question is this: how long does Bush think we should have stayed in Southeast Asia?

The Nazis were officially a Socialist party, which is an extreme left philosophy (they were anti-capitalism and Hilter did disarm the civilians). But they also had extreme right-wing (facist) beliefs. So why are they associated more with right-wing than the left? They had beliefs from both sides.
