Well, I wouldn't go that far and I think one of the warning signs of zealotry is belief that God is on the side of any government or party. That's why I do worry about Bush's motivations. Particularly if he's convinced himself that these are the 'end times' and he sees himself as some sort of crusader. I find it pretty scary that Bush and Cheney appear to think that dealing with Iran is something only they can handle:

(Given the choice, I'd rather have a 'whore monger' than a 'war monger'... less people die!)

um okay... you have some serious issues with Bush. Can't say I don't share many of the same concerns. I am also concerned in general, regarding the step from dissent to hate. Honestly, I have not seen much good come out of D.C. in a very long time. The Kennedy's could really have made a difference in our present day. I believe GOD is weeping for all mankind. Still vile children bent on ruling the world. We have a long way to true maturity. Peace

First of all, if you've read your Bible, you know that the Antichrist comes from Europe.
Second, considering the way Congress is performing these days - having a big chance to win the people over after a Republican-led Congress basically sold out, but squandering it - I wouldn't place too large a wager on that landslide if I were you.
Finally, God is all about faith, not proof, as anyone familiar with the basic tenets of Christianity can tell you.
But anyway, have fun. It's your right, after all.

Um. Kay.
You uh, do know that the Anti-Christ is described as a charasmatic leader who unites all the tribes throughout the world into peaceful co-existance, right? You must read the Bible everyday since you asked this question. Then again, maybe not.
I will be the first to admit, Bush is many things, both good and bad, but he is not a charasmatic leader who has united the world in peaceful co-existance.

Liberals aren't the only ones who think Bush has been a disaster for the country. These people are big-government, authoritarian, corporocratic, imperialists who don't believe in the separation of church and state. They are NOT consevatives; they're just Yahoo Southern Republicans who need to be beaten to their knees in '08, so the GOP can come back to its senses.

I thought Ronald(6) Wilson(6) Reagan(6) was the anti-christ. Though you do make an interesting point.

Nice try, but the important thing is that we (Democrats) are on God's side." Or as Lou . . . oh, what's his name . . . said, "God is Neither a Republican nor a Democrat."

I'm not sure god wants anything to do with politics so I don't think he has anything good to say about either party. Regardless, he certainly doesn't want anything to do with name calling.
