When you get those preprinted with your name return address labels from the Disabled Vets Admin do you:

A) Throw them away because you aren't sending them money and you didn't ask for them to begin with, and using them would be wrong if you feel that way.

B) Keep them and use them year round, but don't send any money for them, because you didn't ask for them to send them to you anyway and well...tuffski shitsko...maybe they'll learn and stop sending them to you.

C) Keep them and send a donation, because it's the right thing to do.

D) You donate to them anyway, so getting the labels is a nice plus.

Sorry, not really a serious political question is it? Ah well, brain needed a rest for a few minutes ;-).

A mixture of B and D. Every year the college where I work does a charity campaign, and every year I like to switch out at least a couple of the charities to whom I donate. Sometimes it might be Disabled Vets, sometimes it might be Lighthouse for the Blind, etc.

But whenever *anyone* sends me labels, I don't encourage them by making a donation (with the occasional exception of someone I I'd meant to donate to in the first place, like St. Jude's Children's Hospital). And I don't see why I should waste the stickers :-)

I've never gotten them from Disabled Vets, but I get them from a number of other charitable organizations. If I donate to them, I use the labels; if I don't, I throw them away.

B.

I don't get them from the DVA, but I get them from other orgs. Still use them anyways. Why not? It would be a waste to just throw them away.

I throw them away; I don't use U.S. Mail much, and they usually spell my name wrong anyway.
