The President of the United States has no authority to outlaw abortion. NONE. And we should be looking to our religious leaders, not to our political leaders, for moral leadership. So it really shouldn't matter how a Presidential candidate feels about abortion. So why is this such a major issue?

I support both. It's hard to fight a war when people don't believe in your abilities as a soldier.

I was watching this story on the news the other day about this pedophile who has a website on which he posts pictures of very young girls. They aren't naked, but it's obvious the pictures are there for one reason and one reason only: to aid the site's pedo viewers with their fantasies.
You would think the guy should have been arrested a long time ago, as he's publically admitted to having a fascination with little girls... but.... since he hasn't actually committed an illegal act (other than violating a temporary restraining order), the law cannot prosocute him.
My question to you is this: Should the government actively censor and take down these sort of sites, although they have a First Amendment right to exist? Or do you support the pedophile's right to free speech because it is guarded by the Constitution? It's obvious that by removing such sites may help diminish the chance of victimization of children. What are your thoughts?

Don't wanna be an American idiot.
Don't want a nation under the new mania.
And can you hear the sound of hysteria?
The subliminal mindf**k America.

Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.
Well that's enough to argue.

Well maybe I'm the fa**ot America.
I'm not a part of a redneck agenda.
Now everybody do the propaganda.
And sing along in the age of paranoia.

Is this what we've become?

This thread is about the discussion of POLITICS. The majority of you would rather discuss POLITICANS. That kind of banter should be reserved for the celebrity area.....since thats what you all make of those know-nothing hacks.
See what I did with the caps. Dropped the S and threw an ANS in there...makes it a whole new word.

Whats your take on this?

OK, only for people who actually watched the movie and disagree with it's content.

Can anyone provide SPECIFIC proof that refutes any of the information contained in the movie?

Please don't tell me he's a left wing nut or that he's fat or a propagandist. I'm not interested in name calling, in only leads me to believe that his information is factual because attacking the messenger is a sign that you can't attack the message.

I'm not saying the movie is an perfect documentary, I really don't know enough about health care to come to that conclusion. But I'd like to hear if anyone has information to prove it wrong.

Are we conservatives so DISGUSTED by the unremarkable GOPers running for the Republican nominatiion that we are attempting to stimulate and energize our party by electing Hillary?

~Divided and discouraged by a GOP field they view as lackluster, they've concluded that the best way to energize party activists, hold the White House and, possibly, return to power on Capitol Hill, is to help Clinton secure the Democratic nod and become her party's most dominant voice. ~

Yesterday I asked a question about why democrats are not for tax credits for healthcare. I got very few educated answers and a lot of feel good answers.

According to the US Health and Human Services Medicaid is available only to people with limited income. You must meet certain requirements in order to be eligible for Medicaid. Medicaid does not pay money to you; instead, it sends payments directly to your health care providers.

Medicare is a health insurance program administered by the United States government, covering people who are either age 65 and over, or who meet other special criteria.

So right now we have government two programs in place to help 1) the lower income and 2) help the retired or elderly.

Can someone give me a rational reason why we should or the owner of a business should not be able to deduct health insurance cost off their taxes?

I suspect that my neighbor has become possessed by Liberalism and I wonder if there is any way to save her, and others so possessed, from this satanic philosophy before they loses their souls.

I first suspected that she was possessed by Liberalism when she began speaking highly of a corrupt and secretive international body known as the UN.

I tried to use logic to combat Liberalisms attempt to gain control over her mind and body, but have thus far failed.

Now it appears as though Liberalism has seemingly gained complete control over her.

- When presented with the sign of the Cross, she begins hissing wildly and babbling about something called “evolution” while claiming that she is a monkey.

- She has now begun expressing a desire to sacrifice children in a ceremony she calls “abortions”.

Am I alone in seeing that it's been taken over by trolls, clones, conspiracies theorists, people with muliple Id's, who merely show up to bash, and 'gangs' who freely hand out violations to shut up the opposition? How about the daily dose of hateful atheists? I have friends who are atheists and they'd never consider behaving like these people do.

Does anyone know of any decent sites that allow REAL debate? I'm going to begin participating less because I can no longer stomach the trolls and hate mongers.
