It is an excellent reason. This sort of absurd over-spending has been going on for decades. there are few entities less efficient than the Federal government.

Actually statistics like that are a good reason to keep everything out of our governments hands. Basically everything they touch is never handled the way it should be - because they are too worried about getting re-elected or wearing that short dress and strolling down lobbyist lane for a few quick extra dollars.
With this particular situation (and all others), why don't we ever hear about whomever is responsible for overseeing the spending of government monies in these projects getting fired or sentenced to jail for ignoring their fiscal responsibilities? If a oriental person were in charge of this, they would probably have felt so responsible they would be shamed for the rest of their lives or kill themselves.
But hey, this is America... land where nobody is responsible for anything.

It's a good reason to over throw our present Government...Republican and Democrat. We have been screwed out of our jockstraps by this cheating self serving Government and it is time for all Americans to pull together and march on Washington to demand a clean sweep in Government. We need to start from square one. Elect the best Governor from one of our states to rebuild a new and responsible Government.

No, it is not, and you cannot "have it both ways."
By that, I mean you seem to trust the Bush administration to run the country and protect you from all the bad guys on the planet. Apparently, the Bush Group is incapable of error or bad judgement.
But...
Start talking about universal health care, and all of a sudden, the government is apparently NOT capable of handling the job.
Have I got that right?
You trust Bush and his lackeys regarding airport and seaport security, not to mention the mess in Iraq, but they couldn't be trusted to run universal health care?
I smell hypocrisy...

Keep a diary the next time you go to the DMV and you can substitute that same experience for what it would be like in a government run Health Care facility.
That said:
These creeps stole money from you and me. I am more angry with them than I am with the government.

That is sick and those sisters should be strung up for robbing the tax payers of this country like that. So too should be the controller who thought that invoice looked just fine.
This is just the tip of the ice berge. The real reason would be because they would be making decisions on your health from a cost stand point... not a health stand point.
