What do you think about the fims of Michael Moore?

I live in Spain and when I see the film I can belive the problems about medical, jobs and politics.

His movies are well done and very eye opening to the objective.

You will notice that his critics here (mostly neocons that worship George Bush) will call him names or insult him in any way they can but provide no information to rebut his arguments. Neocons like to attack the messenger because they cannot attack the message with facts.

Take a look at the criticisms (he's a left wing nut, he's fat, etc...) without arguing his points. Even the fool who does try to argue his points sounds ignorant, and I'll answer his silly questions for him:

Every year hundreds of CUBANS DIE, trying to reach America. If Cuba is such a paradise, why is that? It's not a paradise at all, yet they have a higher life expectancy and lower infant mortality rate than the USA, and that has everything to do with their health care system.


Every DAY, hundreds of CANADIANS, cross the border at Champlain, NY, into AMERICA,to go to OUR hospitals for their healthcare needs. If Socialized Medicine is so great, why is that? One has nothing to do with the other. They come here because we have better specialists. And that has everything to do with medical care and nothing to do with the health care system that pays for it. Canadians that can afford it get a better doctor here while the rest of the nation still gets a doctor. In America without insurance they just die.


Every MINUTE, 99.99999998% of the legally owned firearms in this country ARE NOT USED IN A CRIME. If guns are so evil... WHY IS THAT? Wow, there's something to brag about. Only 20,000 people killed with handguns in the US last year. I bet the number in Spain is a little lower.

Michael Moor is a misfit, like many extreme left are. Sycho is an adjective that goes well on him. He let himself to be duped in Cuba. Anyone from there knows that high medicine in Cuba is available for the Elite and for people with dollars or if there is some propaganda value they give it for free. The Cubans don't get any modern prescriptions, have to bring food, towels, sheets, soap, shampoo etc if hospitalized. Doctors can only prescripe 1950's era medicines for the Cuban people they have lists they have to follow or else....

It is a point of view from Michael Moore's prospective. I find his movies entertaining and rather funny. He makes fun of some problems that exist and have existed for a long time. Our country is not perfect so it is good that we know about citizens that are lacking certain basic needs. How to fix the problems in a capitalist society is the crux of the matter.

I love his movies. Dont go by what the STUPID, NATIONALIST Americans just said here. They are here on a MISSION to stereotype anything that is anti-Bush & Cheney, no matter how right it is.

I am an American and think his movies act as an eye-opener to this pathetic social, economical, political system of ours which only favors the ones that pay them bribes to get work done. SiCKO and Fahrenheit 9/11 were classics and I admire Michael Moore for his courage and commitment towards helping create a better America.

Whether you agree with his politics, whether you agree with the content of his movies, you have to be thankful that someone in the film industry has the guts to put himself on the line and bring attention to problems within the US. Almost all of negative comments about Michael Moore tend to focus on his weight problem. This goes to show you that they can't seem to argue against the points he makes so they attack him personally. I think his movies are well done and thought provoking and I have seen very few of the major points he brings up in his movies discredited by any reliable sources.

Michael Moore is a propagandist, pure and simple. He uses film to push his liberal political agenda, and to some extent, it is working. John Wayne did a movie in the 60's called, "The Green Berets," to garnish support for the Vietnam war. If you recognize that this is the purpose, you also recognize that it falls under the category of entertainment and not factual. So take them with a grain of salt, and render your opinion on the entertainment value alone.

Michael Moore is a fat slob who in classical LIBERAL prose, blows everything conservative way out of proportion to what is reality. His films are NOT documentaries, and are so riddled with inuendo, falsehoods, and outright LIES, as to barely make them films period.

Michael Moore is a typical LIBERAL. He believes in placing the blame for a persons shortcomings EVERYWHERE BUT WHERE IT BELONGS! Squarely on the shoulders of the person with the shortcomings.

Love his stuff. Conservatives don't because all of his facts are true. Even CNN, the supposedly liberal biased station, had to issue an apology for using old numbers to try and prove Moore wrong. Why is it when a liberal takes advantage of their freedoms in this country the conservatives get mad and start calling them names, but when a conservative uses their freedoms to speak freely they are considered patriotic.
