Now now, not all liberals do but maybe most of them do, I'm not sure but when you find the REAL answer for it PLEASE let me know, I'd like to know that answer myself. Could it be they don't want to hear them scream when they kill them?

The death penalty is not a liberal vs conservative thing. Many people think about it in pragmatic terms. Here are answers to questions about the practical aspects of the death penalty system with sources below. None of this has anything to do with whether you consider yourself a liberal or not.
What about the risk of executing innocent people?
124 people on death rows have been released with evidence of their innocence.
Doesn't DNA keep new cases like these from happening?
DNA is available in less than 10% of all homicides. It is not a guarantee against the execution of innocent people.
Doesn't the death penalty prevent others from committing murder?
No reputable study shows the death penalty to be a deterrent. To be a deterrent a punishment must be sure and swift. The death penalty is neither. Homicide rates are higher in states and regions that have it than in states that do not.
So, what are the alternatives?
Life without parole is now on the books in 48 states. It means what it says. It is sure and swift and rarely appealed. Life without parole is less expensive than the death penalty.
But isn't the death penalty cheaper than keeping criminals in prison?
The death penalty costs much more than life in prison, mostly because of the legal process. When the death penalty is a possible sentence, extra costs mount up even before trial, continuing through the uniquely complicated trial (actually 2 separate stages, mandated by the Supreme Court) in death penalty cases, and appeals.
What about the very worst crimes?
The death penalty isn’t reserved for the “worst of the worst,” but rather for defendants with the worst lawyers. When is the last time a wealthy person was sentenced to death, let alone executed??
Doesn't the death penalty help families of murder victims?
Not necessarily. Murder victim family members across the country argue that the drawn-out death penalty process is painful for them and that life without parole is an appropriate alternative.
So, why don't we speed up the process?
Over 50 of the innocent people released from death row had already served over a decade. If the process is speeded up we are sure to execute an innocent person.

I consider myself liberal, and let me clear up a few things.
Liberals don't love abortion, they love the freedom to have a CHOICE about it, and hate the government-imposed restriction on women about what to do with their own bodies. There are plenty of liberals who would choose without a second thought to keep or adopt out a baby from an unwanted pregnancy and NOT do an abortion.
And believe me, nobody loves it. While this country remains deeply divided over the issue, the one point that ALL sides agree on without question is that it the choice to have an abortion (or having the restriction of not getting one), is a very trying, difficult, and extremely emotional thing for a woman to be faced with...in some instances, can even emotionally destroy the life of a woman no matter what the choice. Government-imposed laws only add to that stress, never a good thing.
I am therefore VERY glad of the "72 hour safe rule" that allows a woman to give up her baby within 72 hours of birth to a hospital, police, or fire station, no questions asked. It provides a much-needed viable alternative.
As for the death penalty...I completely believe in it if the crimes committed have been proven and were done by the criminal's own choice.

Well not been a liberal myself, I do think it is because with killng human been is murder , not matter your points of view, but is killing.. abortion is totally others matters, first you have to understand yourself if a fetus is a human been already or just a cell in a process to be a human being (?).-
Let me put your questions in other perspective
""Why Republican love Death (penalty ?) to kill human beings ?..but HATE the rights of WOMEN to choose abortion.-
However the Issue is complex and long overdue.-
But Not the Liberals, worse the Republikan, either us Men to decide this Issue I strong believe is a Women Dilemma or tragedy, that she have to face alone and the men as usually don't take responsabilies and is Gone long time ago.-

As much as many try to tie them together, these are two totally separate and unrelated topics.
Many like to paint with a broad brush and say that "conservatives" are all pro-life (anti-abortion) and pro-death penalty, while "liberals" are all pro-choice and anti-death penalty.
God help us if we're not just a little more complex than that.
There is no inherent contradiction in being pro-life and anti-death penalty, OR vice-versa.
These are both highly complex issues, and both deserve critical thought and constructive discussion. Unfortunately, both debates all too often devolve into name calling and the citing of bumper sticker slogans.

Richard Viguerie, between the country's maximum in demand conservatives, wrote (in Sojourners mag): "in factor of actuality, I don’t understand why extra conservatives don’t oppose the dying penalty. it relatively is, after all, a device set up below regulations time-honored by employing politicians (too a lot of whom lack concepts); enforced by employing prosecutors (a lot of whom desire to grow to be politicians—perhaps a character flaw?—and preferring wins over justice); and adjudicated by employing judges (too a lot of whom administer very own determination extremely than the regulation). "Conservatives have each and every reason to have faith the dying penalty device is not any distinctive from any politicized, intense priced, inefficient, bureaucratic, government-run operation, which we conservatives be responsive to are rife with injustice. yet right here the top result's the top of somebody’s life. In different words, it’s a central authority device that kills human beings." and "The dying penalty device is wrong and untrustworthy because of the fact human establishments continuously are. yet even whilst guilt is for specific, there are a number of downsides to the dying penalty device. I’ve heard adequate with reference to the soreness and suffering of families of victims brought about by employing the long, drawn-out, or perhaps intrusive legal technique. perhaps, then, it’s time for u . s . a . to re-analyze the dying penalty device, whether it works, and whom it hurts. Viguerie is between the founders of the in demand American conservative pass.

They have never been able to communicate with the unborn .
Since human experimentation is some what limited science can not show brain activity in the pain center during an abortion .
If we could only attach electrodes to the heads of the unborn and then kill them and show the reaction the brain has to this death then maybe liberals could be convinced that murdering the unborn is the same as executing a mass murderer .

Why would ANY murderer like the death penalty ? Abortion is murder. Doesn't it make sense to you that a murderer would be against the death penalty ? They pronounce it on helpless babies, but condemn it when it comes to themselves, or people like them.

They don't. This question has been around and around.
I'm a liberal and think the death penalty is more than appropriate. If it would be acceptable to prevent the crime by shooting the person...then clearly the death penalty after they have committed their heinous crime should be a more than appropriate punishment.
I don't know anyone who embraces abortion. That is simply a ridiculous notion. What people want is freedom...freedom from having to think and act the way other people think they should.

I don't love abortion, I never had an abortion, I pray that I will never need to consider that. However, the government has not say in that decision...NONE. How can conservative say they are for a smaller less intrusive government when they want to allow / encourage the government to make health care decisions for me or YOU?

We like the idea of giving the woman a choice in the matter, not abortion itself.
Why do cons love the death penalty, but hate abortion?
