This thread is about the discussion of POLITICS. The majority of you would rather discuss POLITICANS. That kind of banter should be reserved for the celebrity area.....since thats what you all make of those know-nothing hacks.
See what I did with the caps. Dropped the S and threw an ANS in there...makes it a whole new word.

Whats your take on this?

Brian....easily until we have players that know what they are doing I see no need to discuss their views.....especially since they are not in here to give us their views

Open4one....there is no spell check for details...only the title....I would expect a top contributor to know that...perhaps you are in the wrong section...and the papers are in the mail.

You are so right and people should just be answering questions on politics or asking them .
Is Bush a good leader ?
Is the war going as Bush Planned ?
Is Bush stupid ?
Proper questions would be about politics .

Do we have any intelligent life supporting the politics of George Bush is a proper question .

The man should be left out and his politics examined closely .
Has his politics produced and results ? Well none for average voters .
It has increased the wages of defense contractors who constantly lobby others to support them . Just so they can defend America of course .
It has increased the amount of pollutants dumped in the ocean air and water By changing the clean air act passed in the 70's to allow continued output of poisons into the air which by now should have been cleaned up .

Oh yeah and the politics of the president has lead us into a war that is taking the lives of hundreds of thousands of people . Divided the nation and the only hope of uniting it is to attack mexicans .
The common enemy of the working man .
Yes you are right ! None of what people ask and answer on here has anything to do with politics but rather the idiots currently controlling the population of America and destroying it and their loud uneducated supporters behind them .

If we're going to be that technical about it, most of my posts should be in the Economics section, and I do sometimes post there.

But Y/A puts Economics next to Dream Intepretation - they don't understand that Economics is a science.

And the Politics section is full of wrong Economics answers - politics is subjective and politicians determine economic policy, and for some reason many of you think that that means that Economics is itself subjective. It's not. Price ceilings at material levels cause shortages and price floors if set at a material level cause surpluses - whether put in place by a Democrat or Republican.

If you intend to educate and make people think you have to go to where those people are. If they go to the Economics section they're ALREADY seeking, they'll get to the right answer. If they're trolling in Politics, they're not likely seeking, you have to reach them.

When you create a question or an answer, right above the box is a button marked "check spelling". You should use it. The word you wanted is "Politicians". A "Politican" suggests a cross between a party hack and the state bird of Louisiana.

Am I in the wrong section, too? Sue me.

Politicians have much more to do with politics than with celebrity. How can one discuss politics without discussing the major players?

At least it's not a post like "Major boy problems - GIRLS ONLY! HELP!!!!!!!"

Questions like that tend to show up in every category....at least the discussion of politiciANS is more relevant to politics.

how can you discuss politics without discussing the politicians who are putting forth the laws that are possibly going to be passed?

Should we say instead, "Candidate A, whose name I can't mention, has put forward this bill with Candidate B, whose name I also can't mention, because this certain person on here considers them to be more of a celebrity than anything to do with politics"?

but those politians are involved in politics. they aren't celebs, they are public figures. public figures are dicussed in the section of which they are famous for.
in music many people post about christian aguleria, even if it isn't about her music, because she is a music celebrity.
politians are discussed in the politics section and elections section
