Consumption tax or Income tax?

What are the Pro's and Con's of each?

Fair Tax. Take the time to read up and learn about it. It IS Fair and people with low incomes will feel the benefits. There's an excellent FAQ link that will answer most if not all of the concerns many people have made known.

The only real issue I have with the consumption tax (fair tax) is that at the advertised percentage rate, it will not generate enough revenue to run the government and will plunge us into bankruptcy.
