Anyone who has seen the progams can easily see that it is full of right wing propaganda? What do you think? I really want to here from people who think this is a news station.

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you all for coming. Laura and I welcome you to the South Lawn. This is an opportunity to thank the members of Congress and their families for serving the United States.

I want to thank our Chef, Paul Prudhomme, from New Orleans, Louisiana -- one of the great chefs in America. Thanks for coming, Paul. (Applause.) I thank Tony Snow and his bunch of, well, mediocre musicians -- (laughter) -- no, great musicians. Beats Workin, thanks for coming. (Applause.) Kermit, come up here. Kermit, we're proud to have you.

MR. RUFFINS: Well, thanks for having us.

THE PRESIDENT: Kermit Ruffins and the Barbeque Swingers, right out of New Orleans, Louisiana. (Applause.)

MR. RUFFINS: Thank you. Thanks for having us. We're glad to be here.

THE PRESIDENT: Proud you're here. Thanks for coming. You all enjoy yourself. Make sure you pick up all the trash after it's over.

In various polls conducted by various organizations, the current standings are:

26% - Americans who approve of the job Bush is doing

70+% - Americans who think we should withdraw from Iraq within the next year

90% - Americans who believe our health care system is flawed and needs to be changed or completely overhauled

76% - People who are willing to pay higher taxes to receive better health care

Yet the mainstream media talks about leaving Iraq and overhauling our health-care system as "leftist" or "liberal" causes. Doesn't that mean that most Americans are liberals? Why is the term "liberal" so vilified? WHAT GIVES HERE PEOPLE???

When Howard Stern spoke out against the president (who owns stock in Clear Channell) he was censored, and left to go to satellite. Why don't the cons who don't want to be regulated go there, like the libs do?

Didn't they run against Republicans and the “culture of corruption”?

So, what have they done? Iraq, Earmarks, and don't forget about William Jefferson. Will the immigration bill save them?

I hate these, honestly, why shouldn't people be allowed to smoke in a bar? I can understand at a restraunt, but wtf, a bar?!?! Also, why aren't they doing anything about fat people. Why not a nationwide ban on trans fat. Do you think obesity is a taboo subject? For example it seems acceptable to tell a smoker to quit smoking but is considered cruel to tell a fatso to stop stuffing his face with food.

Hamas won the election by a landslide last year. The people overwhelmingly said that they desired Hamas rule. Hamas has obviously proven themselves a terrorist entity. Even President Abbas called them terrorists and murderers. Fatah wasn't able to hold their own for one week against Hamas in Gaza. So if Hamas rises up in Judea and Samaria, what then? Is Fatah going to hand over the state the international community wants to give them to Hamas? Is Fatah going to be anointed the monarch of that state to prevent Hamas from winning elections again? Hamas is burning churches and killing Christians in Gaza for practicing their religion. Hamas is shooting rockets at Jewish civilians in Sderot everyday, but where is the media outcry? These aren't nice people, but they are the elected government. What does that say about the majority attitude of the Palestinians about people that aren't Muslim? Why should an illegal government (fatah) be rewarded for not handling their business?

Our national enemy GEORGE W BUSH has wasted more lives and money than even Osama Bin Laden had hoped in IRAQ.

The sick Bush regime has made a bad situation worse in IRAQ.......Democracy is a JOKE in IRAQ

Whether or not Iraq was a democracy or not was never our business anyway.

The USA started the war on a lie..because the USA is an evil country. The USA will be defeated because it is morally weak with an ignorant population.

2007-06-22 06:48:36 · 25 answers · asked by Anonymous

JFK spoke strongly about addressing issues arisen from the cold war in his amazing speech's. JFK spoke strongly, but walked, much more gently, on international policy affairs, than any other Republican administration since that time. His use of American power was very guarded, in a time, that the Pentagon and most conservatives wished to enter a war, at any cost, with Russia. Goldwater, Nixon, and the John Birch society heavily criticized JFK as an appeasor to communism. JFK towed the line well, it was a real balancing act. During the Cuban missile crisis, he was called weak by armed services top brass at the Pentagon, in conversations at the white house during the crisis. JFK used great strength and courage to resist "conservative" forces, and, got us out of what likely would have been a nuclear holocaust, had we invaded Cuba, as every military adviser recommended to him. Kennedy used personal diplomacy with Cuba and the USSR throughout his administration.
