Al Sharpton and Rosie O'Donnell are highly controversial, but more accurate and honest and informed than anyone in the Bush Admin.
Keith Olbermann is a great newscaster. If more people had his brains, courage and accuracy, we may have avoided recent disasters like the Iraq War. Too bad most of the corporate media kiss up to the Republicans.
George W. Bush is a conservative hero - but he is too criminal and dangerous to be entertaining.
Hillary R. Clinton is not well regarded by many liberals due to her going along with Bush on too many things.
Al Gore is a great American. He should be President now. He won in Florida 2000 but the right wing activists on the Supreme Court broke the law and their oath to uphold the Constitution in Bush v. Gore. The entire world is worse off because of this.
Sheryl Crowe is a great singer / songwriter who is also a leader on the cure for cancer and dealing with global warming. She may save more lives than the right wing lunatics waste and kill with their idiocy, but it'll be close!

Here's a clue - just because a celebrity is a liberal, it doesn't mean liberals automatically agree with them! Do you look up to every celebrity Rep? Gimme a break.
You know who else is highly entertaining?
MLK
FDR
John Locke
Max Weber
Aristotle
Thomas Hobbes
Benjamin Franklin
David Hume
Thomas Jefferson
James Madison
Abraham Lincoln
Amartya Sen
John Kenneth Galbraith

I don't think anyone looks up to Rosie, Al Sharpton, or Sheryl Crowe.
However, one person they look up to that suprises me greatly is FDR.
During WW2, he did all of the things that they are now blasting Bush for - Japanese detainee camps, monitoring ingoing and outgoing personal communications (phone calls and letters) etc. etc.

Was it a trick to add George W. bush to the list of liberals. Yes their amazement with people like Olberman, Crowe, Mahrer, Franken is the biggest joke since these people have no knowledge of government and try to act like experts on everything.

I don't look up to any of those people.....It must be sad to have a party that is so pathetic that the only leg you have to stand on is insulting the other party...I guess that is what six years of failure does
