Brian Ross of ABC News was holding on to the Rep. Foley story for a year. He OBVIOUSLY timed its release to hurt the Republican Party in this election season. Now it turns out that the Congressional page was of legal age afterall, not 16. What a bunch of hypocrites (their the ones that are homophobes)!

If so, is it another example of this administration tossing aside due process, for the sake of a witch hunt?

Lately, I have heard liberals state that Congressman Foley making excuses for his behavior doesn't cut it and that he needs to take some personal responsibility. I couldn't agree more, but I have one problem.
In the 90's, during the Clinton years the liberal culture rejected personal responsibility. If a gang member murdered someone we always heard that we should go easy on them because they had a rough childhood. Every time any two bit criminal got injured in a shootout with a Cop, liberals blamed the police. Liberal judges started to determine that if a burglar injured himself while breaking into a house they could sue the homeowner. Even Clinton blamed Ken Star for his problems.
Don't get me wrong, I feel that we need to throw the book at ANY child predators, whether Democrat, Republican or independent. I'm also pleased to hear that liberals are embracing personal responsibility, I just hope that they continue to do so even when it doesn't involve a republican congressman

would you be happy? would you leave the country? sit back and be miserable? rise up coup d'etat style? or watch the country go nazi-communist and not care?

I think the US would be under military control, at least until the country is fixed, but thats just me.

What kind of Democrat blame game will he bring up tonight? Maybe John Kerry and John Edwards gangbanged Foley at a convention?

As a govener, exicute more people than any other state in the U.S. Including the mentaly incompitent. Then be responsible initiating an invasion of a country and causing the death of over 60K men, wemen and children. The loss of soldiers soon to be equal to the number of lives in the twin towers. 20,000 of our soldiers wounded for the rest of theit lives.
So much for death and distruction. NOW, a chance to contribute to life and cure ill's. Stem cell research. Not embroi. Cells from the embilicle cord. Not allowed. Christian behavior. Yes or no!!!

Please keep in mind that patriotism is the "Love of and devotion to one's country"

While nationalism is the "Devotion to the interests or culture of one's nation. The belief that nations will benefit from acting independently rather than collectively, emphasizing national rather than international goals. Aspirations for national independence.

Will we become isolationists?

As americans have we been given the freedom to choose? Have we somehow already voted on these changes?

Should we not be concerned?

When are we going to wake up? Or are we as a society just too busy with our personal drama in our lives to take notice? Are we just not in the mood to be inconvenienced with confronting the truths? Are we too busy with greed, watching reality shows that aren't real? listening to faux media? preaching the double moral standards? or are we just simply "obeying" like sheep?

Just where are we as americans heading to?

Hastert must step down! Foley must be put in the slammer where he belongs. At least Clinton did it with a half way decent looking FEMALE who was of age instead of little boys like Foley. Republicans are sick and liars.

are responsible for the timing on the Foley scandal? Despite the accounts of several Republican congresspersons and their staffs that they were responsible for the delay. Hastert came earlier today and said he was responsible for how this was handled but would not resign. ABC reported that they did not receive any infor from Democrats (remember this is the network that went after Democrats in their fictional account of 9/11, hardly liberal biased). No Republican has yet stated that any Democrat on the ethics committe was informed. How can people ignore all of that and still try to shift blame to the Democrats for the timing?
