Like the Leveeen Masse on August 23 1793, by the French Government.
If there was a draft, and it was done like the above, there would probably a lot less casualties in Iraq, That could be a good idea, in a way.
If there was a draft though, I would be the first to volunteer to join

it also works for germany, as for israel where they can be at war and people still don't mind being drafted, if only we had enough people who had pride in their country and the freedom it guarantees them that they would put down politics and pick up arms this would be a far better country.
for this reason i am against the draft because as someone soon joining the armed forces i would hate to know that the guy next to me who my life partially depends on is a wuse who hates the very country he is fighting for.
i think the US should create a two class system
1st citizens- enjoy better rights but can only become a 1st citizen by serving the country at least 1 or 2 years
2nd citizens- less rights; more wimps

i'm no longer an Obama supporter. i does compared to a draft yet when there ever became one, i'd opt for adult adult males and females to serve in wrestle together. authentic equality. i recognize Obama's vote in this difficulty is a touch nerve-racking and some thing Ron Paul would not in any respect vote for.

There's no chance in the world I would ever vote for a draft, sorry. If you want to go kill yourself for some undefined, ever-changing cause, go right ahead.

Uncle Sam doesn't need the draft. We have the 2nd amendment. We are 300 million strong.

If Barbara and Jenna were the first drafted, I doubt if we'd be at war.

No thanks, no draft needed. What we need is for the shackles on the military need to come off, we need to stop coddling terror suspect in Gitmo, let the Army get enough people to do the job, and release the fires of hell on our enemies where ever they are.
