When was Chenney vilified? He shot a guy in the face, skipped the state, and told the authorities to shove-it. Then, the guy he shot apologized to HIM. How many people can get away with that?

You'd make an excellent reporter or anchor for CBS, NBC or ABC news. Cheney shoots friend accidentally while hunting, becomes "Cheney shoots guy in the face". Why don't you apply?

the details in the Foley case are representative of the Republican immorality,, the blame game isn't working,, they will cut their losses and run,, unless there is a bigger story here,, this leadership has failed the American people miserably,, as has the Bush administration,,,, but they are headed for a Melt-Down,
at least Monica L. was a grown woman of 22,,, congressman Foley was soliciting and exploiting high school juniors for gods sake,,,

Lies!!!
They didn't shoot anyone in the face. Cheney shot that guy in the chest. Clinton shot that women all over her dress.
I predict I won't remember who Foley is in about 90 days.

uh, excuse me dearie, monica 'chew'linsky was 21YEARS OLD - THAT IS ABOVE THE AGE OF CONSENT IN AMERICA!
So you're little comparison is a bit stupid - can you come up with something that's a little more relevant to the matter at hand - you know - some democrat that had been sending lewd emails around to his young boys... tender young boys.. oh that foley loves his tender young boys.
like - I just love this one:
Foley: Are you a little horny?
Page: A little
Foley: That's cool

I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than driving with Fat Teddy Kennedy.

The vilification duration graph goes like this:
Presidential indiscretion--long
Vice-Presidential indiscretion--medium
Congressional indiscretion--short
Congressional indiscretion by someone who quit immediately thereafter--very short
It's not the crime but the stature of the criminal that matters...

BIG difference...intent.
Cheney had no intent on shooting someone, it was an accident.
Foley did what he did with intent, whether he was drunk or not.
Clinton was even worse....he did it with intent, wasn't drunk and then lied about it.
