That seems to be an unfair question. Although I am not a liberal, I know many, and none of them think pedophilia is ok.
BUT... Liberalism (in the extreme) is about personal freedom - freedom to whatever the heck I want to do. Pull a feeding tube and starve a coma patient, abort a baby, show sex acts on TV... and I can see how, in the extreme, *some* might say that "age of consent" laws are unfairly restricting those who want to love youngsters.

Ummm, I think you have mistaken "liberals" for the "leadership" of your sinking-ship Republican party. Your leaders have been trying to cover up the pedophilic behavior of Foley for the past several years. Might Mr. Hassert (Denny) be the next neck on the chopping block???

Eww. The scary thing is that he isn't JUST a pedophile.... he's a pedophile that was an important member of the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Well, libs are constantly getting all bleeding heart about embracing diversity and accepting others beliefs, they are the party of the ACLU (who went to the highest court in the nation to protect the rights of THE MAN BOY LOVE ASSOCIATION a club for men who like to have sex with little boys)...so perhaps it is PC to embrace pedophiles too, dont know, I just thank God that I am NOT a lib.

Mark Foley isn't a liberal :| Hate to burst your bubble. He's one of yours buddy.

But nobody is going to be ignorant enough to believe either political party actually endorses such a horrible thing. There are rogue misbehavers in every institution, even church. That doesn't mean its the policy of the institution or organization to support that behavior.

What gave you that idea?

You're only giving your own party a bad name by trading low blows like this. I feel for your fellow republicans who are actually going out to make a difference.

Why do pedophiles pretend they're not by asking such questions?

Really? I believe it is the republicans that are defending Foley and Hassert's actions, not democrats.
