His résumé of accomplishments is the most embarrassing and humiliating of any president in U.S. history. Examples:

He know full well you gouged the hell out of the elderly over Medicare.

He cut benefits for war veterans at the very same time you were busy waging a whole new war.

Under his watch, 3 million Americans lost their jobs, hebankrupted the Treasury, the deficit skyrocketed, the U.N. became irrelevant and he set the record for government-spending increases. Oh, and his environmental record is the worst of any president in American history.

So, a philosophical question: Which best describes his approach? Is it willful ignorance, like the Creationists? The Buddhist notion of (bad) karma? Descarte's mistrust of the flawed human senses? Or the Sartre concept of the petty bourgeoisie (that's him), who wake up at 50 just in time to watch themselves die? All of the above?

Nearly 1 million radiant women marched and sang and chanted in front of Bush's office in Washington, D.C., just recently, angrily protesting his ongoing antichoice efforts to hack away at women's reproductive rights. This was so important to him that he was, meanwhile, up to his cute monkey ears in pink bubbles in his favorite bathtub at Camp David, taking yet another completely undeserved mini retreat and shrugging off the protest as he further locked in his ranking as the most-vacationed president in U.S. history.

Now, then: Would he, or would he not, allow his famed party-girl daughter Jenna to take RU-486 were she to "make a mistake" with one of the Young Republicans at an all-night beer-bong bash at Sigma Alpha Delta?

That was done when the life expectancy was much lower and the world was a lot less complicated. I also don't think there's a lot of people from 35-50 that could take on that much responsibility. In other words, how about 50 as a mininum age?

The present deficit is 315 billion. The USA's total debt is 8 trillion dollars! At the present rate of undisciplined spending, the debt will hit 10 trillion dollars by 2012.

How would YOU balance the budget?

I need factual information for a research paper that I am doing on rising fuel prices and the effects that it has on middle-lower class citizens. I want to show that middle-lower class citizens suffer but prove that Bush, Cheney, and Halliburton actually benefit from these high fuel prices.

Enforcement Undercut Eric Schaeffer, EPA's Director of the Office of Regulatory Enforcement (a 12-year veteran who has received awards for his work quality), recently resigned in protest saying he was "tired of fighting a White House that seems determined to weaken the
rules that we are trying to enforce." He said energy industry lobbyists were helping to write proposals to weaken air-pollution regulations for older coal power plants. The Bush Administration's stance has interfered in lawsuit settlement negotiations with 8 major power utilities. The industries hope to get a better deal from Bush, so negotiations have stalled.

Schaeffer said, "The big problem is the Dept. of Energy's been put in the front seat on these decisions. Their client is the power industry and our perspective is this is an environmental enforcement matter and I don't think they have a place in those negotiations, but there they are." The Cheney energy task force directed EPA to review whether the rule substantially impeded power generation and to recommend any reforms.

This year, Bush's proposed budget would cut EPA inspection staff by 18 percent next year, and civil enforcement staff will decline 11% over 2001 levels. Republican Senator James Inhofe said "the White House is addressing an overzealous agency whose strict enforcement of air pollution rules has sometimes done more harm than good." He supported claims by the coal-fired electricity industry that "stringent modernization rules are actually discouraging plant owners from upgrading pollution controls." (Utilities have benefited for years from loopholes which "grandfather" old plants like the Pulliam on the Fox River. If they think this is a problem, why don't they eliminate the loophole instead of blocking EPA enforcement?)

Republicans fell all over themselves to interfere with spousal rights in the Terri Schaivo case, susbstituting government bluster with the "sacred marital bond between man and woman". Turns out they were ALL WRONG, Ms. Schaivo's brain was unable to funcation at even the most basic level and her husband was perfectly correct to follow her many doctor's analysys.

Senate Leader and DOCTOR Bill Frist even went as far as to diagnose that the doctors were wrong (after viewing a heavily edited video) and proclaimed that his Medical opinion was that Terri Schaivo was not in a Vegetative State. (Later he sheepishly admitted she was on Meet the Press.) Even Bush woke up in the middle of the night and stuck his nose in this by signing a law in his slippers.
