Is it weird that i have strong feelings for this great nation? That I love this nation so much, that i am willing to go in the army and protect this beautiful nation from people who will like to destroy it. In short, is it weird that i love the u.s.a more than i love myself?

Not weird at all. It also would not be weird if you were drawn by your love of this great nation to be a diplomat in order to achieve the same ends. Both soldier & diplomat are necessary.

It's not weird at all. However, if you find out that you fit with military and you can do military stuffs----sorry, but I don't deal with military people at all.
