who would u give a pound?to Carita's or to a homeless in the street?

i myself have done some voluntary work for them and my mission was to take all the donation clothing from the containers ....several times i was told to throw the clothes in the garbage because they coulnt be sold again or that they have too much in the stores one day they charge a father of a child because the child was inside the clothing container trying to steal some clothes for them

I tend to give direct to the homeless at least you know the money is going to the person you mean it for..giving to most major charities means lots of fat cats take there cut...directors with big flash limos etc....business lunches the list is endless...the little that's left then goes to the poor.

Cut down a bit. You cannot cure the worlds ills yourself. You would be better off writing to the various authorities to do something. The way you are going, you will go mental.

Tried giving a burger to one of the homeless folk and had it thrown after me with a shout of"I cant F*****G drink that.

Pathetic...Think I would give my pound to the dog pound... They, at least, are grateful.
