Why must you be classified into one?

If you have valid reasoning for your stances on issues and they all fall in one particular category, then I guess I understand. The majority of people, however, have very little reasoning for their beliefs and simply follow what they're told to believe. Then, those labels are turned on them and used as insults by those on the opposite side that are just as unintelligent.

Others are actually intelligent and think about the issues and don't necessarily stick to any party or belief system. I appreciate those kinds of people.

Personally, I hate the democratic and republican parties because I think they accomplish nothing and are only interested in self-preservation. I am economically conservative, but I believe in liberal social issues so I don't fall into any specific category.

What do you think?

You should be very afraid.. These people are serious and are organising to take over the political, Judicary and School systems.

They are unconstitutional because of the separation of state and religion.

Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez has vowed to bring down the U.S. Government. Chavez, president of Venezuela, told a TV audience ?: "Enough of imperialist aggression; we must tell the world: down with the U.S. Empire. We have to bury imperialism this century." The guest on his television program, beamed across Venezuela, was Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist. Chavez recently had as his guest Harry Belafonte, who called President Bush "the greatest terrorist in the world." Chavez is pushing a socialist revolution and has a close alliance with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Regardless of your feelings about the war in Iraq, the issue here is that we have a socialist dictator vowing to bring down the government of the U.S. And he is using our money to achieve his goal! The Venezuela government, run by dictator Chavez, is the sole owner of Citgo ?gas company. Sales of products at Citgo stations send money back to Chavez to help him in his vow to bring down our government.

Take Action

Democrats or Republicans?

The rash of recent school shootings has made me ask this question now, although I have always thought this. Personally, I don't think anyone should be allowed to have rifles or shotguns either, although at least I see some validity with pro-hunting arguments. I simply cannot fathom, however, why people would need a handgun or an assault weapon considering their entire purpose is to kill people (yes, self-defense is killing people too).

If you disagree with my views, I am curious as to your reasoning. Please elaborate on them; I'm interested.

The bill's chief Senate sponsor was conservative Republican Jon Kyl, who, like Leach, has said he believed Internet gambling was a moral threat. He has called online betting as the Internet version of crack cocaine.

Republicans tucked the measure into a bill aimed at enhancing port security, which passed early Saturday.

What I don't understand is.. Why is OK for Jews to be Anti-Immigrants, Anti-Latinos, Anti-Hispanos, Anti-Muslims, Anti-Catholics, anti-Assyrians, etc???? And why the label Antisemitism as something bad?
By the way.... Nation of Aztlan is not Anti-semitic.... they oppose zionism. But many other Jews, like the Sephardic or Orthodox, oppose Zionism as well!

Debate has begun on how best to divide Iraq into fascists groups of people rather then trying to unite the people .We have divided our nation into the poor minority's across the tracks or in the bad neighbor hoods giving up on all the people who are born there .Now we are giving up on Iraq and allowing the Idea of dividing it up .
They knew this would be the fate of the nation of Iraq and others in the middle east .YOU are either with us or against us was heard loud and clear long before 9-11 .As we attempt to control the energy that drives our economy many in the middle eats educated in america returned home to defend life as they know it .America is indeed truly evil .We are divided at home into the haves and have nots and will divide the world the same way .They knew it was just a matter of time .Who are we to attack and divide Iraq and soon Iran and others in the middle east .
I guess because we have the power we also inherited the control of the middle east for our own use .

A local group fighting for immigrant rights is calling for a boycott of two nationally known companies. Dunkin Donuts and Applebee's are accused of discriminating against immigrant workers whose names don't match their social security numbers.

This is sad.Follow the law and be boycotted. I would be willing to bet that it is the liberals complaining.

What's about this whole insult called 'liberal'? Surely it's good to be a liberal because they believe in freedoms, liberties, democracy etc the most..

And what's the problem with a 'liberal media'? Isn't that about independant media sources, rather than state-sponsered news? Or is that a bit old-fashioned for America I wonder..

This is the start and part of the process to get americans accepting the division of Iraq into three Sub states or regions .
I am sure we will maintain controll of the oil fields and routes of trade when we divide Iraq .I wonder how many of you care about the manipulation of the people in america by the press and government in an effort for the government to do as it pleases .

Charleston(S.C) City Councilman Larry Shirley says society has gone awry, and it's time to start a "dialogue."

"What we've got is a failure in society, whether it's in Mount Pleasant with yuppie parents or whether it's on the East Side with poor crackhead parents," Shirley said Friday. "We pick up stray animals and spay them. These mothers need to be spayed if they can't take care of theirs. ... Once they have a child and it's running the streets, to let them continue to have children is totally unacceptable." Deadbeat dads might ought to be sterilized as well, he said.

State Sen. Robert Ford, D-Charleston, says Shirley is correct, that this is a societal problem.

Fascism
1. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

2. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.

What in the world does this have to do with religion?
-----------------------------------------------
Certainly this this a phrase made up by the right wing scheme machine...

But even if there is such a thing as "Islamo-fascism"; there would almost certainly have to be group of a "christio-fascists" lurking about in the bushes somewhere.

What would these "christio-facists" look like?
Hmmm...

"Islamic Fascism???"
Are there actually people out there who accept this kind of rhetoric at face value???

Everyone lately checks into some kind of rehab to avoid the full penelty of the law for there actions and the public out-cry for justice .Seems everyone in the public eye is guilty at one time or another of bad behavior .Entertainment and news people like Bill O'rielly ,Rush Limbaugh and Mel gibson come to mind along with the sex tapes of paris hilton Rob lowe and bay watch babe and hubby going at it .Today we hear the sex offenders are now checking into rehab in an effort to reduce there culpability for the actions they have taken .
I am called an alcoholic by everyone who knows me and to date i have never filmed a sex act or engaged in sex with minors or purchased perscription drugs illegally and i am shocked to find people saying that drinking and drugs made them do it .This makes me look bad .I do not wish to be associated with criminals and perverts who are blaming everthing on drinking .
Its like blaming terrorism on all muslims .
