Could apply in a theocracy with justification, but most governments are godless, like the U.S.
Just because a person is a premeditated professor of a jack christian group does not mean he has any beliefs in God.

it all comes down to the fear of things different - Christians fear the other religions because they are not just a faith thing, they are a way of life. Anything that threatens the christian way of life is feared.
At the end of the day where is the proof that God exisists - how can people believe in something/someone who would allow the different peoples on this planet to destroy each other.
The failure of international policies and politics all comes down to power - who holds it and what they can get with it. Wars held in the name of religion are usually about something different - take Iraq - all about the oil and who controls it.

Religion or Religious beliefs have been the root cause of virtually every conflict since time began. It will continue in the same vein until some idiot presses a button and ends the World as we know it.

It is to blame for everything in the world. People are being judged for what the belive in. If people would grow up and judge people on there actions then there would be no wars or anything America attacked a country for the actions of 2 people. Why sould a whole country have to deal with America when it wasn't them?

Don't blame religion blame the people who use there religion for a excuse to suit there cause.
Religion is a personal thing between man and his God, and the bible does not preach what theses groups are saying you have to separate the two.

and what is the base cause?
Its man's desire to be like God, to control everyone and everything else. That is what explains problems at many levels.
