Charleston(S.C) City Councilman Larry Shirley says society has gone awry, and it's time to start a "dialogue."

"What we've got is a failure in society, whether it's in Mount Pleasant with yuppie parents or whether it's on the East Side with poor crackhead parents," Shirley said Friday. "We pick up stray animals and spay them. These mothers need to be spayed if they can't take care of theirs. ... Once they have a child and it's running the streets, to let them continue to have children is totally unacceptable." Deadbeat dads might ought to be sterilized as well, he said.

State Sen. Robert Ford, D-Charleston, says Shirley is correct, that this is a societal problem.

Funnily enough, I was just reading a similar article about the UK. Do these people realise how much their Utopia looks like Hitler's Germany? I'm so outraged, so appalled, I'm not actually in any position to give a legible answer right now. I hope people who even think that die young and rot.

Stifle It Libs: Hitler has everything to do with this - it was he who first suggested (and carried out) sterilisation on the poor, the disabled, gypsies, homosexuals and whomever else he felt was 'unsuitable' to be allowed to procreate. So YOU, poor misguided soul are endorsing the beginning of a facist ideal.

in the journey that your dad will communicate over with you approximately it then i might commence by potential of speaking to him concerning to the economic burden he's putting on your mom. He desires to appreciate it is not which you think of he's a skeevy perv, yet which you do not think of your mom would desire to be footing the bill for his pleasures. according to probability if he's prepared to take the money he's spending a month on porn, and rather use it to purchase a recent for you mom, he would desire to not be in such prefer of suggested porn.. if ya understand what I mean... to not be gross.. i realize it is your friends, yet nicely, you asked. yet do not tell your mom. not yet anyhow. it is not nicely worth breaking up a marriage.

Just read the health section of Yahoo answers, and see how many people ask questions like "If I had sex with my girl one week after her period, can she be pregnant?" or "one week before" http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjY0BUBaPedpEwX9xwswKBzsy6IX?qid=20060930080130AA5K2tT

People, it takes no brains to have unprotected sex..But to go through life healthy and PLANNED ( as in having children when you and your partner are ready) takes brains. You all have one just like you have sexual organs, so use it!

That being said, I do not agree on forced anything...The ills of society start at home..Educate the people, talk freely and frankly without guilt of religous persecution. Encourage Parents to be involved in their kids lives and this will become a non-issue in our society ( to the greater extent).

YES!!! I always thought about this. Society as a whole will be better that way, but the problem with that is it's against the constitution and its not true freedom but I would be for it.

Only on the condition that it would be handled like the death penalty. It has to be a sentence that results of a jury trial.
