Democrats because most people in this party are looking into equal rights for gays..
most (and i say most, not all) republicans are sponsoring bills to ban adoption, marriage, domestic rights for partnerships, boycotting gay friendly companies...
most democrats who oppose generally just oppose the marriage part, but i've seen people on both sides who want marriage and civil unions. Cheney actually is for gay rights... guess why, but his affiliation is too unpopular towards it so he doesn't come outright.
The democrats would be the answer.

The democratic party is filled with liberals which support the gay agenda, gay marriage, and anything gay. You see they have this little problem of not being able to appeal to people on issues, so they try to appeal to the people themselves; WHOEVER they can.
Though obviously not all republicans are Christians and perfect, they are the party that stands for conservative values and are not for the gay agenda. It may surprise you though that Dick Cheney is one who is sympathetic to the gay agenda due to his lesbian daughter.

Neither. Democrats hide behind them, claiming that they give them "equal" rights when what they REALLY want is "reverse" discrimination (Affirmative Action), while the Republicans tend to believe that it's an immoral lifestyle.
I know I'm going to get a lot of poor ratings for this answer, but it's the truth.

democrats, republicans are trying to get a con admement that basicly says gay marriage is not legal. just for a side note democrats tend to want more rights and freedom. republicans try to push people to act the same via laws restricting morals.

Many would say Democrats. However, since Robert Bird (D) likes to use the "n" word, and since Cheney's daughter is openly gay, one could say the Republicans are.
