I think he would like to see Bush go home early and has stated more then once that his problem is with Bush not the American people.

We were buying oil from Venezuela long before President Chavez came to power. Florida will suffer because most gas station are Citico owned. We buy from the people not the man. Chavez wants to be the ruler of South America. Mexico will be next.
If Chaves would pay us one barrel of oil from this countries for each align in the USA the oil supply would not be a problem.
Too many people will suffer more .... if we refused their oil from this country.
Beside our US Senators block us from using our own oil and drill off the Flordia coast 2006. Flordia will not allow us to drill for oil since 1990.

Dear Deejay:
I apologize most profusely. Sophie has been trying to get me away from this computer for the last two hours and this stupid comment of mine proves she is right. Shish. After I had made a vow to be nice, too. (Sophie is my cat.)
I've been at it too long and now must take a break to refuel. Thanks for your understanding.

To the people who believe the first part of your statement:
1. Chavez was elected by popular vote; he's not a dictator.
2. He is not evil just because he dared to speak the truth.
3. The only person trying to bring down the US is in the White House.

Because of importation agreements which were in effect prior to Chavez. America has a free trade credo. It is up to individuals and American companies to refuse to buy Venezuelan products. We have the choices. We had better make good ones.

For the same reason we have Iranian oil and had Iraqi oil when Sadaam was still there and had Angolan oil when dos Santos (and the Russians) were there in the 80's...as the cliche goes, "It's the economy, stupid!"

It works the absolute opposite way--until there is a chance he won't keep giving his oil, he isn't a threat to us. Now if he decides he doesn't want us to have access to it anymore, then he has a problem coming...

Just because he's a loud mouth marxist idiot doesn't mean we should feel threatened. I certainly don't feel threatened by that oily little weasel. I think it's funny. He's going to destroy Venezuela, and probably help destroy his neighboring countries, too, by providing the Marxist guerillas with arms, etc.

It's not me that will suffer. They voted him in, let them live with the consequences. Not one penny from the treasury, not one drop of American blood to save the brainless Venezuelan leftists from the consequences of their folly.

thats the funny thing about politics isn't it...
How the US will overlook grave human rights violations commited by countries such as Saudi Arabia ( where school girls were locked in a burned school and burned to death by the rteligious police because they tried to leave the school without their vails) but will gladly ignore that several of the 9-11 hijackers were Saudi, and gladly pair up to get oil from them....

That's a great question, someone should shoot that piece of $hit. I mean I don't like Bush either, but Chavez is far worse. I can only hope that he's killed off pretty soon.

Because people with money will always defer to other people with money. Power begets Power. Always remember these statements and you'll understand globalization and politics.

Dumbya is the evil dictator, (by his OWN WORDS), a liar, a killer and thief. And are you saying that you don't believe in the usual right wing mantra of "free markets"???
