What's about this whole insult called 'liberal'? Surely it's good to be a liberal because they believe in freedoms, liberties, democracy etc the most..
And what's the problem with a 'liberal media'? Isn't that about independant media sources, rather than state-sponsered news? Or is that a bit old-fashioned for America I wonder..

I have to thank you for the great laugh I received reading your question. I am so sick of hearing Liberal this, Liberal that. The Republicans need to get over themselves! Its been so long since I've laughed about anything attached to out current political situation. Thank you again for making my day! The Republicans hate Liberals/Democrats because we believe in freedom for all, they only for the rich. Republicans are all about control, control of people and money. "Family Values" have price tag attached to it when they are in power. Unfortunately the tag reads "Clearance" or "All Sales Are Final".

Actually, it would be the Liberals accusing the Republicans of destroying the environment, even though there was nobody around.
Modern liberals support things like Welfare, Social Security, Socialized health care, and other social programs. This is socialism and is bad. So no, they do not believe in freedom. Or they would vote to give me the freedom to control my own money, retirement, health care, business, etc.
You are confusing "liberal media" with "free press". "Liberal media" is just a media that insults conservative ideas and supports liberal ideas. It means nothing more than most people in media are liberal democrats so they put that slant on all of the "news".
200 years ago, when monarchies were normal, the idea of a Democratic Republic was liberal. That's when being a liberal was a good thing. Now liberal just means enslaving the population in government controlled programs.

Unfortunately, being called a liberal is an insult because so many liberals are just plain crazy without any common sense. Being called a liberal is like being called an ultra-neo right-wing religious quack. Being just a "conservative" isn't a problem, becuase it is what most people in this country fall under.
The problem with a "liberal media" is that journalist are suppose to present unbiased news, which they rarely do. So a "liberal media" is the same as being an unethical journalist. Same would be true of a "conservative media" if there was much of one (maybe Limbaugh and O'Reilly).

It's because they cannot come up with a real argument. Another example would be calling somebody "un-American". Requires very little thought and effort and they can just scream it from the play pen and idiots believe it.

You contradict yourself. First you say you are being insulted when someone calls you a liberal, then you say being liberal is a good thing.
The problem with the "liberal media" is that it's biased. Fox News is biased to the right & CNN is biased to the left. If you want the whole story, watch BOTH channels to get both sides.
(I'm more of a libertarian, myself.)
