I'm not at all, its hard to swallow watching good people having to suffer for someone elses greed. None of whats happening has to be. We are the wealthiest nation in the world and we cant or wont take care of our people. Certain people would like to blame the previous administration for our current economical woes. Its funny though that then, it was the fastest expansion of growth in history and that there was a balanced budget. Those are facts. How this current administration can dispute that is beyond me? The numbers dont lie. You can ask anyone prior to Bush about their finances then and tell you honestly they were doing good, better than good in most cases. The only people that can say they are better off today and not be lying for the parties sake are big business and the wealthiest. Are you one of the wealthiest? Or are you like the rest of us working stiffs that have to work more hours for less money?

Honestly, probably not.

2 years ago, I was single and making $1000 a month.

Now, I'm married with a child and we bring in about twice as much per month.

For a person who is single and has few responsibilities...sure but for those who maintain a household and children...definitely not. Wants and needs grow as children grow, therefore expenses are more. Some work just to get by.

Absolutely!

I don't wait for the government give me a raise. I EARN it. I work hard, learn new skills, and take on more responsibility, and, you know what...my employer gives me more money. If they didn't, I'd take my skills elsewhere.
