It will come out that the party new about his attraction to underage boys, and covered it up, that's why I asked if people who believe in the party might be upset

we've war, poverty and crime issues- yet rather we are all meant to be dissatisfied approximately Politicians hiring and firing human beings over politics? final time I checked- those persons have been given their jobs first of all in line with their politics and contributions to campaigns- not their means or ethics, and final time I checked the two events do it, and function been doing it for years. Sorry- I in simple terms think of we've been given extra valuable issues to do then spend the previous couple of years of the Bush Presidency doing an identical element we did the previous couple of years of Clintons = Chasing political shadows and achieving not something>

Nope. I believe there are still good Democrats despite Byrd, Ted Kennedy, and Clinton, so why can't there be good Republicans despite the scandal with Foley?

Unless you are homophobic, you have nothing against this man. The legal age of consent in DC is 16. The page was 16. No sexual contact took place, only messages.

Foley did nothing wrong. No wavering faith, no scandal except what the media makes of it.

Not at all. Molesters come in all flavors and persuasions. In his case, I'm glad he was caught. I expect if the truth is known there are many other pervs in Congress and their politics don't affect their thinking with their little heads.

This has nothing to do with political views. If you're relying on one rep's emails to bring down the party, you'd better go back to the drawing board and think of a plan for '08.

I have about as much faith in Democrats as I do in Republicans. Long & short of it is they are all human & they all do screwed up stuff, like committing sodomy with cigars and recieving oral pleasure in the white house. At least Foley fessed up.

never had any,,, it is a disgusting fact that the fiscal conservatives in the Republican party see no difference in sex between consenting adults and a child sex predator,,, what the hell is wrong with these people,,, immoral behavior between the paid leaders of the people, and their subordinates is wrong,, but when children are involved,, it is a criminal act.
