I think I am the perfect presidential candidate for 2008. I will give NO American a break from reality. However, the reality will be personal accomplishment, not conquering the world at the expense of other nations with more natural resources than our own.

Since day one of Operation Shock and Awe, President Bush has repeatedly said in many different ways that the war in Iraq is being fought to make Americans safer from terrorists. What justifies the safety of Americans being paid for with human lives (i.e., Iraqi civilians). If you're someone who thinks that killing civilians is a "necessary evil" because terrorists hide behind civilians, what justifies the U.S. committing acts of evil but others should not?

judiasm is a religeon, why do people profile jews with steryotypes like big noses, any race can be jewish, and i dont understand how jews themselves act as if theyre a race, its not like you treat christians as a race . If we even look at histry werent the first jews of darkish brown skin, now most of the world's jews are white, how doesnt this make sense ?

I'm not talking about the war per se. I'm talking about fiscal responsibility. On the radio yesterday, I heard how billions of dollars have simply vanished due to the lack of accounting practices and justification. In fact, when Congress forced Bremmer to account for any outlays, they simply went to another slush fund which they didn't have to account for. How, can ANY conservative NOT be outraged by the waste and mismanagement we've seen with our tax dollars?

If America disbanded our military the rest of the world would be willing to take dominance of the world in our place. I see a lot of answers from Conservatives that give the illusion that Dems want our current members of government to be more and more corrupt. They apparently think that Democrats want to use the corruption as a political weapon. I am a Democrat and all I want is for our politicians to be honest with us (ALL of them) and to help make this country a better place. I would be much happier if I could go through my life without having to worry about what some guy in Washington is doing with my taxes. Do the Republicans honestly think that corruption is what we want? If the politicians would just keep their records clean, we could get down to the business of running this country.
