I believe that democracy was born in the interest of the majority. This caused less internal friction and a more peaceful society. Recent history has shown us again, i.e. Bush & Middle East, how the President of the US has an immediate influence on world peace in other global regions. Perception is that the action of the president doesn’t always represent the US voters (reason for the quick succession of presidents?).
In the interest of world peace and the advancement of democratic systems, I suggest that a certain percentage of the votes for the US presidency should include the global international community. As in ancient Greece, the mechanics of democracy might result in a more peaceful global community. I think this is the real dream of all US citizens, but the US government prefer things volatile, for it is good for business, good for politics and makes them feel needed.

I fail to understand arab mentality. The US is fuelling this senseless and indiscriminate civilian suffering and yet lebanon is accepting their aid. stupid! This is the time for all arab nations to join hands and assist lebanon. The way the world evicted Iraq from Kuwait ,the same should be done to Isreal immediately. The world is sick of being bullyed by the US. Recent events have shown that any country ,the interferes with, turns into hell. Bush has created more terrorist in this world than any president past or present. Bush beleives in squashing human dignity. The world has no quarrel with the American people,most of whom are decent people. So why are they the targets of terrorist? This i beleive is due to Bush's foreign policies. Somebody please stop him before he starts world war 3. Bush is the most likely man to unleash nuclear war on this world he likes a blood bath.

I for one would be happier if bush , rumsfeld, and cheney were offed together! I would have a party. probably get really drunk. Most of the cities would have an New Years eve type of atmosphere.

those who feel elite?

I mean seriously... in the depths of your heart and soul.. don't you just hope that you see judgement day when they are standing before GOD and Jesus and he sends them to hell as poor black cripled females in a time when blacks were enslaved.

I look forward to that day when I may witness this for all those who are of the belief that they have 'earned' their right to say they are more worthy for life, liberty and happiness over others. And the ones who have no problem benefitting from the greatest economics on the planet while griping about paying for social programs that keep it from becoming a 3rd world country.

Sorry, but this republican idea of abolishing minimum wage really got under my skin. May all of them reap what they are sowing in hell.

Throughout the short exisitence of having a minimum wage, every increase to it has NEVER had a negative effect on businesses.

Why? Because it benefits the very low of our society who need the money; therefore, spend it = it goes right back into our economy = a boost.

We had a minimum wage increase in the 90s and I dont know about you but I sure as heck do not rememeber the economy being punished because of it.

What do you think? (had to put a question with my rant lol)

Republicans have been talking about getting rid fo the minimum wage.

ALL PAY ATTENTION!! The new world order is here. They have out entire government and now they want us to be living in cardboard boxes outside the industries.

Having a minimum wage is part of what keeps us a superpower, industrialized,civilized world and not a 3rd world country.

Do they not know that Clinton reformed it and u can only get it a limited amount of time now?

Also in some states, if you do not have kids, you dont get it at all. You just live under a bridge if your situation has put you down. IE, a friend of mine had her husband walk out on her, and because she had no kids, her state said she could only get food stamps but no help with anything else. He had taken everything.

She lived in an attic for awhile then committed suicide 2 months later. What a wonderful country we live in, eh?
