I believe that this government has a good system of checks and balances, designed to spread the power and protect any once branch from wielding too much of it. It can, however, be used indiscriminately at times, as can nearly all government powers.

No, I do not think it should be canceled.

No, it is important to our system of checks an balances.

ON another note, the veto power in the UN for the Security Coucil. That should be cancelled. Nations like Russia and China often abuse this power.

Veto power NO

Line Item Veto power - maybe

I am assuming you are referring to the current debate over line item veto. Line item veto is a good idea because it gets rid of a lot of bologna(pork, not beef hehe) added to bills BUT when you have an ignorant idiot in office, it might be a bad idea.

Once again, the lack of trust in an adequate leader has thrown our entire system for a loop. I would have never guessed in 1000 years that I would not support line item veto because of an out of control president...

No, it should be left alone, it is part of the checks and balance in the system, there is even relief with a two thirds majority of congress it can be over thrown. It is a good system, embrace it, do not change the constitution.
