I see no good reason for them to remain as it is, it's an out-dated and unfair funding mechanism. Both would be more cost efficient in private hands, we'd save thousands in taxes, and can choose a level that suits us. I pay the high tax band, and therefor a lot more into it than poor people, but if we both had an illness, I would go to my local hospital just like them. I think I would like to pay for a private hospital, but why? when I already pay for the NHS, I'm loathed to do it. And with the BBC, I could tolerate 2 min adverts every half hr, if it meant saving £120 a year, considering I watch about 3hrs of BBC programming a week, and that's just footie focus and the occasional match of the day!

I mean they are doing NOTHING about the situation, letting israel do what they want. What does this mean?! It is now ok for other countries in the world to just start bombing each other?

Damnit all. Why am I such a target for women? Why are the naturally drawn to me like a moth to a flame? I attarct all kinds of women but now im a attracting more and more married ladies....I cannot do that! Being a good Republican, I respect the family unit and bond of marriage so what can I so to turn off this aura I must put out? Oh and liberals are not excluded here...I attract all policital affiliations.

I was on a trip to CAIRO EGYPT. i VISITED THE FAMOUSKHAN EL KHALILI 1000 YEAR OLD MARKET. A fantastic place.
An old egyptian women of baout 80 years of age came up to me and my family ans asked us in broken english where we came from. We told her the USA.
She just simply looked at us and spit in our faces. She said that was because of our support for Israel and the war crimes we had commited in Iraq.
I am never going back to Egypt ever. The auful part of the story is that hundreds of ppl watching this womans spit on us just stood by ans laughed their azzes off. We had to be escorted out of the market with the help of the police who also laughed their guts out at us.
How about that?

if yes can you tell me what is happening in Lebanon ?

all i want to know is what the western Media shows from the Lebanon side.

did you know that 750 people were killed in Lebanon
60 were killed in a refuge building most of them womens and childrens, 37 childrens.
houses are being desroyed by israel tanks, also bridges so aid can`t cross (trucks and so), also fuel stations were destroyed.

The U.N. has reported that more than 100 Palestinians have been killed during these 19 days
you probably know this one:
21 Israeli and 37 Israeli soldiers were killed

jews don`t jump saying hizballah was hiding in 300 houses stupidity. you keep saying hizballah this hizballah that.

your problem is with hizballah then why you are killing so many lebanese people unarmed citizens innocent childrens ?
and why are you exploding bridges and fuel stations since day 1 ?
what is the bridges and fuel stations got to do with hizballah ?

When countries can't solve their own domestic problems, what do they do? Blame it on another country (or peoples)! Just like the Nazis did with the Jews...
Although the US is responsible for some disorders in the world, many countries need to take responsibility of whats happening in their own country and stop blaming every problem in their society onto the US.

I hate to know there are insane people out there that like to hurt each other.
No offence to anyone.. but as the 3rd party I see "NONE" of the advantages at all in fighting with each other. anyone can explain why why why there is something like war happening in our world?

Many Americans on yahoo.Answers, when answering to questions involving America's misdeeds around the world, seem to say that since one is not an American his views do not matter. Some state this in a very vulgar way.

Are the Americans surprised they are hated all over the world, and looked upon as arrogant, ignorant, and self-conceited? This is the general picture painted of Americans, insensitive to human lives as far as it is not an American life.

Check out this answer given by an American on one of this panel.
When someone cried out about the heinous attrocities of the Israelis in Qana, killing 37 innocent, sleepnig children, his answer was: 37 potencial terrorists have been killed!!! What an answer!
