I, along with many people including some Israeli citizens (protesting the war) are against what is happening.

If people hearts don’t hurt from the horrible images of the dead children, I cannot image what the world is coming too.

The problem is this not happening in Lebanon only, it’s also happening in Palestine and Iraq. People are bombed in their homes under the myth sold be the media and several “governments” that the occupiers are ‘defending” themselves against the “so called terrorists’ who are hiding amongst the civilians.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4... (actually the Israeli troops are using Palestinians as human shields)

Unfortunately, this is untrue and propaganda to legitimize and excuse the genocide don against the citizens of these countries.

People fighting to live on their occupied lands are being labeled as terrorist.

Supposedly, we all know:
-Parts of Palestine were handed to Israel in n1948 under the Balfour declaration.
-Iraq’s invasion was based on false reasons.
-The latest war on Lebanon was planned for by Israel one year ago and began when the Israel crossed the Lebanese borders (contrary to the story sold to us by the biased media).
http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle....
-Hezbollah are a Lebanese militia fighting for Lebanon.

So who is really the aggressor / terrorists using banned weapons of depleted uranium and yellow phosphorous against civilians and who are the freedom fighters.

The international community (specific governments) are allowing Israel to conduct genocide against the Lebanese people, punishing them to force them to comply with UN resolution 1559 and at the same time, these same countries are vetoing every Un resolution against Israel and not putting any pressure whatsoever to force Israel to comply with UN resolution 242 & 338.
http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/expelle... - just a look at the Un resolutions against Israel should be enough to see the long history of aggression against its neighboring states.

The same government is attacking and accusing Syria & Iran for supplying Hezbollah with weapons while it has been and is continuing to supply Israel with weapons – applying a double standard stance in the situation.

Finally, the pictures are enough to express what is happening in Lebanon:

There was something Romantic about the Jews having been scattered throughout the world, like Gypsies.

But in 1948, the Nation of Israel was declared, and war broke out the next day.

I was born in 1949. So, for all of my life, I have never known a time when there was peace in the Middle East.

Establishing Israel was a big mistake.

And killing over fifty children in a shelter, makes me SICK. I like the Jewish People and Religion, but the nation of Israel is like a cancer in the world.

I think it's about time Israel kicked some terroist butt! I don't feel sorry for Lebanon. I remember they were dancing in the streets when they heard that 3000 Americans were killed on 911. They chose to have the Hezbo's set up shop in their country, they are for the most part pro terrorist. So screw um.

This question seems to keep popping up.

Israel was attacked and they retaliated to stop the daily violence on their citizens. Hezbollah is a terrorist group which believes Israel should be wiped off the map. They hide behind civilians to shield their cowardice. Israel should crush them.

If you don't fight the bully he will never learn his lesson.

It's horrible.

The way the HezBULLies attack their own people and try to blame it on the Israelis is disgraceful.

Its bs and it should have never happened. Lebanon is asking for a immediate seize fire and they left it up to our government to decide and Bush declined it. I believe this is a complete mistake from our president and because of this he will lose a lot of the U.S peoples trust...
