But the Germans did have support from inside of some of the countries they conquered they are responsible for it as well. When the war ended a lot were rounded up and face the trial for there crimes. Some commited suicide and other fled to countries like Iran, Syria, various places in South America, and Africa. The Germans were,are and always will be impressively
intelligent and precise. These Nazi War Criminals did leave their mark on the places they hid and their influence was in most cases welcomed.

Europe though it was devastated had countries like England and France who stepped up to negotiate and repair damage done throughout the Middle East and Africa. Most of the Middle East had been occupied by both England and France before the WW II so it goes that land was divided and parcelled out by the former colony owners. The Jews already in the Middle East were givens some pretty crappy land from England to settle in and France gave the Palestinians a crappy piece of land next door to it. Intially the Palestinians rejected the land, it was pretty crappy
back then but then decided they wanted it. Israel on the other hand they just took it even though it was crappy, they drained swaps and realy worked hard to make something of it. Lebanon in a way never had a chance since they didn't seize their intial opportunity they end up caught between a rock and a hard place when Egypt and their allies were only using their religion and not their intillect attacked Israel. Now Nations like Egypt and Jordan are more balanced and are home to many compassionate and intelligent people. They came to recognize there are better things to do than fight, that they have a glorious history and a future ahead of them. Iran and Syria are causing the problem now.

In Lebanon they do have a military and even if it is no match for Hezbollah they could at least do manuevers to get civilians out instead of letting Hezbollah use them as human shields.

As far as this being a "Holocaust" not even close, the Holocuast was in fact more than just the attempted extermination of the Jews, it was the attempted extermination of all who didn't meet German Standards.
