Should it be God Bless America, or God Forgive America?

In order for America to be forgiven, God asks that we repent. Now, repentance is much more than the mere admission of sin; it is a turning away from it, as well. That means, that America must "Go and sin no more." That's going to take a lot of doing,, but, it is a thing that can be done. However, like most jobs, with the exception of house-painting, it has to start at the bottom. Only in house-painting do you begin at the top, and, America needs a lot more than a new coat of paint. It needs to be taken apart and completely rebuilt, from the foundation up. Fortunately, the original foundation is still sound, rock solid, in fact. Out founders built a solid foundation based on principles that have stood the test of time, and are the core values of the majority of Americans, so, we do have some very good material to work with. it's inside all of us. It's time for America to wake up, and return to those basic principles, that were outlined in the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. It can be done, and God will forgive America. It begins, within the hearts of each individual American citizen.

Personally I feel America has dual standards,unfortunately like most politicians,never true to their word. Why they will not stand up and be counted!Fear of loosing financial gains, there are a great number of Jews in America and if Bush condemns Israel they politically have a lot to lose. They put themselves up as the peace makers, but only when it suites them. I feel pressure from the rest of the western society should stand up and put pressure on Bush and Blair to condemn these evil acts against these poor people.Politics should not come into it. Right is right and wrong is wrong,Israel is wrong,they have no sympathy from me or my family. I feel it should be GOD FORGIVE AMERICA. Some times I feel ashamed to be of western culture what example are we showing our children.It is up to us to make our voice heard
as Bush and Blair through their actions put all of us at risk.
