If the employees work really hard and the company makes big profits, it's not the employees that get to decide what to do with the profits. The CEO and big shareholders decide what to do with it. Sure, they're already rich, but it makes them feel better to see bigger numbers in their investment portfolios, even if they have more money than they know what to do with. That's where the money goes. Under a money-dominated electoral system, you can only expect the gap between rich and poor to increase.

is does but because it does not benefit you or your community directly in a large way you assume this. its called the trickle down effect, its take a while for you share of the increase to reach you. then it depends on how your local government allocates the money gained if they did. you must remember these figures are for the nation. California could have experienced a 13% increase while arkansas experienced a decrease, but becuse california experienced so much to off sets and makes the national average higher

because the poor in the US will NOT find a job and go to work. Immigrants come to this country and find success and live productive rewarding lives. Why, because the demorats have created a welfare system that goes now to 4th and 5th generations of born Americans will rather live off gov handouts than be productive

Most of the money go to the people investing in the stock market, where poor people do not have the necessary funds to invest.

O.K. , lets do the math .
The economy goes up $1,000,000,000. in pure profit .
There are , say , 10,000,000 poor.
If the profit was divided equally between you, you each get $ 27.40 per day , or if you'd worked for it, $ 3.42 per hour .
So, you'd be better off taking a minmum wage job .
Get off your A$$ and stop looking for handouts.
