Tolerance went out the window with cowboy diplomacy.

I do feel that most of the opposing sides feel it is one religion agains another. I know the 'fake' christians here in the USA feel that way. I say 'fake' because real christians would never condone this war.

We are having the same problem islam nations are having where islamic extremists are using violence to insight hate.

Unfortunately, I do not have a worthy solution to offer you.

I share some of the same sentiments as jersbulk - muslims everywhere have an innate hatred of Jews-Israel - only last night a muslim I talked to voiced his disappointment over Syria and Iran passive role in Lebanon - he wants them to attack Israel.

Muslim South East Asia is vast and most allies itself to Islam no matter how violent some segments are:
a. Immediately after 9/11, T-shirts with Osama's portrait are sold in local bazaars in Malaysia
b. Some cars are plastered with Saddam's names
c. Local muslims are proud that a Muslim struck at the heart of America

Tolerance may still be possible. Acceptance is long dead and buried. There will never be peace with a religion that preaches violence to justify its cause.

i think in ways there is a spiritual war going on..when they want to take the lord, god out of schools..and the movie touched by a angel off the tv because it mentioned god.. and wanting to take in god we trust off the money we use.. i think it is wrong and leading this world to a wrong end...the kids do not say the pledge of allegience like we use to do at school and i just think things are getting really bad because of this...if someone does never hear of god and does not know him they will not hear about the way gods plan for us is..and the world i think will get a worse place to live than it is now..

I don't believe so... religion is not the main issue in the current war, I Think this war become "religious" because most of the war happen in the country that happen to be have a diffrent religion.

I don't know.. ask the Muslims. In Russia, Asia, the Philippines, India, Malaysia, the middle east, southwest Asia and recently the streets of France.. it's the Muslims versus everyone else. I guess that's what you get when you design a religion to build an army so you can invade the city that exiled you. Thanks Mohamed!
