Israel is completely justified in protecting it's soldiers and civilians. The world has promised that Israel would be recognized if it gave up land. They gave up land and their soldiers were taken from their sovereign territory (while the UN films it.)

The Islamo-fascists want the total annihilation of All Jewish people and will not stop until they are defeated. You cannot have a peace treaty with Hezbollah because they have demonstrated time and again that they only agree so they can re-arm and attack again.

First get the facts straight.
1. Hezbollah kidnapped the soldiers
2. They had 30,000 troops massed at the border with Israel.
3. The head of Hezbollah got on TELEVISION for crying out loud and declared war on Israel.
4. Then he launched over 1200 missles the past 10 days into Israel indiscriminately.

Now try some critical thinking...

1. Who provided the missiles? China through Syria and Iran.
2. Who moved the missiles to the border with Israel? Hezbollah
3. It takes time to move 1200+ missiles across from Iran and Syria.
4. They had the missiles ready to launch so it was pre-planned.
5. If you have 30,000 UNIFORMED Hezbollah troops massed at the border you need support services. Those have to be planned so that your troops can eat, pee, and get a hot shower.

Now, answer this question:

If Hezbollah were launching rockets from Mexico into San Diego or San Antonio, would you still be asking this question? No.

I have seen this question posted many times in this forum and it is only because of the limited news we get from our government cooperative media. Israel has every right to defend itself just as much (and here comes the truth you don't hear) as Lebanon has. For the past 6 months Israeli soldiers have been kidnapping Lebanese civilians. This is public record if anyone was willing to read outside news sources or have contact with human rights groups that have been investigating this. This has been a political move to draw Hezbollah into a fight that they cannot win. The United States (with our tax dollars) gives (not makes them pay, but GIVES) Israel 2 billion dollars a year in military support. Our corporate media paints a picture to "manufacture consent" of public opinion because they know that a majority of Americans do not do any significant research. This is how CPI (committee for public information), the governments public relations machine sells wars as an acceptable discourse to the American public.

If Israel were really defending itself, of course. But there is a difference between aggression and defence. I see this whole Muddle East thing as a problem without resolution by humans, unless we learn to be civilised. Israel's treatment of the Palestinians is ample provocation for an attack, in my opinion. I used to support Israel, but their inhumane treatment of other human beings has cost them my support. Not, I think, the answer you were looking for.

No, why not talk over it? Why does it have to be all about bombing and killing innocent people? Can't they both get together and talk about it? Yes, they can. Hizbullah did what they did because they wanted their Lebanese prisoners back. They did not use violence. They held the two Israeli soldiers as HOSTAGES..meaning, they will go back to their home as soon as the Lebanese prisoners are released..But Israel is Israel, want to prove its existence by killing innocent people.
