Hell yes we do. The only problem I have with the Voter Rights act is they didn't include Florida and Ohio this time around!

Yes, this is absolutely necessary if we want to continue to give all US citizens the right to vote. Another extension will be necessary again in another 25 years when this one expires. It will be the responsibility of the president at that time to sign it.
Use common sense, don't be ignorant.

He and the others in the Republican Party need a "feel good" photo opportunity. Plus the votes.

Yes, because without the extension, blacks would no longer be eligible to vote! It's pitiful, isn't it? Seems to me that this is the kind of law that should never expire!!

did he just sign it or did he have some reservation abut certain parts of it that he will choose to ignor about it because of the presidents right to do has he see's fit for america anytime he wants.
