There appear to be only four possible options:

1: Kill all jews.

2: Kill all Arabs.

3: Transport all Israelis to a perfectly constructed exact replica of israel somewhere else... like in an alternate reality... where no Palenstinians exist.

4: Transport all Palestenians to a perfectly constructed exact replica somewhere else... like in an alternate reality... where no Israelis exist.

Lebanon would have to secure the release of the two Israeli soldiers that were kidnapped by Hesbollah and then they would have to kick it into high gear and squash the terrorist group Hesbollah.. then Israel may back down.. then again... this is a civil war that has been a loooong time coming..
the underlying problem is the militant Muslims hate Jewish Israeli's.. so it's never going to be cut and dry or a simple solution

I do agree damage to civilians should be minimized. But the Israeli army do not target Lebanese civilians (although civilians do get hurt in the attacks). It does attack Hizballa controlled areas (south suburbs of Beirut) and places where it knows Hizballa ammo is held (including private homes, which is new for IDF - but reasonable. If you choose to have weapons in your house you become a legitimate target).

However, Hizballa is firing missiles on Israel targeting civilians on purpose. We have over 200 missiles hitting cities in Israel, killing people and wounding hundreds, and that’s only in the last 48 hours
So, to sum this up, there is a very clear way to stop the current battles in Lebanon:
Return the soldiers, and fulfill the UN resolution of disarming and disbanding the Hizballa, having Lebanese army control the south and the borders. As simple as that.

America to quit messing around and do something, we need all the countries to come down hard on hezbollah, which after the 4 of the U.N. ministers have been killed many countries are now in it, all Israel wants is hezbollah to back up a mile and a half, is that worth losing so many innocent civilians.
THIS is starting to involve everyone now, and if something isn't achieved fast, we may have a lot bigger conflict than some people wish to think.

The world is fixated on a particular instance while this war has raged on for centuries through religion and utter contempt that has consumed their entire lives. If they really wanted peace, they would take the actions to engage in peace and not B.S.'ing each other. The likelyhood of any of that happening is pretty much none.

For Israel to stop persuing it's genecidical campaign on the palestinians and accept the cease-fire that hezbollah and Lebenon and the entire UN proposed (for the exception of US and England have rejected it ). Israel wants this war, they wont stop untill they re-occupy southern lebenon just as they have for the past 20 years.

first stop the fighting and then start negotiation about how to end all roots of hostility in the Middle East. Israel can not keep occupying land and keep Lebanese kidnapped in Israel. Before 1559 there was 242 OK how long can you misinform yourself

The best way - but this will never happen - is to get all Muslims to stop attacking Israel and trying to exterminate all Jews.

It will never end. The Israelis have to fight; Hezbollah considers it a holy war.
