Neocons are a more liberal branch of the conservitive GOP. They have been successful in pulling the party away from the Extremist far Rightwingers (though they still exist). With all the bashing, will the party retreat back to the far right as McCain has done?

Yes. Those people are pushing me further to the right, every time I see their Q&A. I consider myself to be an Independent moderate, but all this "neocon" this and "neocon" that is making me want to pull as far away from those people as I can get.
