Tell me why. Both sides. Factual with links to back it up (not links to Op Eds or Fox news or Air America).

You people are always whining about each other, lets get it out there so we can start mending the U.S. and take it back by reaching a middle ground.

Pres Chimp - Phenominal. The link you provided to prove that was very useful.... *sigh*

"Liberals want to take all of our, that is why we are taxed without representation" - There is my argument for the right. But no link. Does it hold credence? NO. Provide proof rather than rifts.

Sweetlilwood:
Neo-Cons = New Conservatives. Ask the conservatives: over the past 20 years there has been a "New" or "Neo" Conservative movement. Its a fact and not biased.

Nuke:
There has to be a middle ground and if you can't compromise, you need to leave. This country was built on compromise (see, federalist vs antifedralist). Everyone must be represented. Not just you and your hate for the Dixie Chicks.

And if the Yankees win, Bush probably did rig it....lol, jk of course.

I don't hate either of them, tho they piss me off at times. I'd defend any one of them against a terrorist to the best of my ability.

I don't "hate" anyone. I don't have links to my beliefs but here goes:
1. I think the federal government takes entirely too much of my hard earned money.
2. I believe that if your not willing to work for yourself, I shouldn't have to work for you.
3. I defy anyone to find the right to an abortion in the constitution.
4. I defy anyone to prove to me that the 10 Commandments are unconstitutional.
5. It's my gun, you can take it when you pry it form my cold, dead fingers.
6. If I want to speak on a cell phone in my car, butt out.
7. God and the US Constitution gave me my rights, not the courts.
8. Oil companies aren't evil. The people that blame them for everything are.
9. The Dixie Chicks need to shut up and sing.
10. If the Yankees win the World Series, it's not George Bush's fault.

The middle ground is for squishes who can't make up their minds. There is no gray, the world is black and white.

Edit
I thought conservatives were the only ones that were allowed to say love it or leave it.

I think I like liberals because they stand up for their rights almost wish I was a "Black Panther" back in the day. As for Neo Cons I don't know who they are and they might just be like the Republicans. I think everybody need to stop fighting and come to an agreement on something or act like they did. Politics are for people who have "power" issues.

A quote from Eric Blumrich, and I agree 100%:

I despise Bush because he stole his way into office, by virtue of a nakedly partisan ruling by the United States Supreme Court. This, in itself, is reason enough- undermining the election process is nothing short of treason, and Bush is deserving of prison time on that count, alone.
I also dislike Bush for shifting the tax burden onto the middle and lower classes, just so he could give a huge tax break to his rich donors. These tax breaks, along with his reckless economic policies have led to severe budget crises in all of the 50 states, which have been forced to close museums, libraries, firehouses, and schools.

Bush is also a serial liar. Normally, this wouldn't perturb me much, as all policians tend to be economical with the truth. Bush's lies, however, lead to suffering, poverty, and death on a massive scale. He proposes grand mandates that are foisted upon the states, and then withholds money to pay for them. He passes laws like the "Clear Skies" initiative, which is nothing more than a blank check to polluters to pump even more poison into our air.

The grandest of these lies, of course, was his excuse for his war in Iraq.

Furthermore, Bush has wrecked the good name and image that the United States used to have in the world. By spearheading a foreign policy based upon hubris and arrogance, we have alienated just about every other country on the face of the earth.

I despise republicans, because they ignore the lies, support these policies, and don't care who suffers, or who dies, simply out of dogged blindness and willful ignorance. Furthermore, the Republican party has forsaken its grand traditions, and allowed itself to be taken over by a hard-right version of protestant christian fundamentalism that preaches bigotry, supports racism, sexism, and homophobia. They seek to impose an orwellian prison state upon america, because they see it as their god-given duty to "occupy the land." Their main goal, in life, politics, and faith, is bring the world into a fiery armageddon, after which they will all be brought unto the bosom of their lord, while the rest of us burn in their vision of hell.

Religion is a fine and good thing- but apocalyptic cultists like John Ashcroft, Tom Delay, and Bill Frist shouldn't be put in control of governmental mechanisms that could affect us all...

for sure there are abode grown terrorists, like those who hunt down and homicide our police officials, and those who attempt to defeat the juries who attempt to carry those human beings to justice. grasping Liberals are making use of their increasing skill to pull u . s . down into radical socialism, so as that it will rigidity the hard-operating and performed "center and higher-class" to pay for the Liberals' ever-increasing "entitlements". isn't that an excellent purchase extra attainable for them than operating their way by severe college and faculty, and dealing for a residing?
