The house passed a bill today that would deprive federal courts, even the supreme court jurisdiction in certain matters. Yes its the pledge, but whats next?

This was a ban on federal funds for this research.

Just like so many pathetically ignorant lefties complain when gov'ment money is spent on projects they disapprove of, (the military, school vouchers to schools that work.) An arguement could be made that people who actually respect human life should not pay for this expeimentation on humans.

There is no ban on the research or private funding. Will the left stop lying about this??

I get this argument being a man. Women think that because I am against killing unborn children that I am telling them what to do with their bodies. This is not the case I am merely saying that killing an unborn child (at any stage of the pregnancy is wrong) I have the up most respect for women and feel that they are equal to men in every respect different but equal. I think this is just a pro-abortion way of trying to disqualifying me from having an opinion.

I am really up set that the congress has left Clintons "clean water act" standing. It is liberal and it is bad for America.

We need a Red water law to replace clean water.

I never thought I'd see the day Haliburton gets tired of making illegal profits. Now that scandals and elections are on the horizon they pull out of Iraq. Oh well, they are still riggin' in the dough with oil profits.

Hypothetical question. Pretty simple, yes or no, but if you want to add an explanation, go ahead.

2 part question:

Mike and Joe are both ditch diggers.

Mike makes it to work on time every day, and leaves at quitting time everyday. Mike works really hard, and takes pride in his work.

Joe usually strolls in a little late. He does as little work as he can. He's usually pretty lazy, always looking for a reason to stop digging. He watches the clock constantly, and usually leaves a few minutes early.

Question 1: Do Mike and Joe both deserve the same pay rate?

Question 2: If Mike has worked for the company 5 years, and Joe has worked for the company 6 years, who should get the promotion?

Leo(nard)o (DiC)aprio should keep their mouths shut when it comes to most things but always when it involves politics.

...no matter what language you pray in, your faith, or what side of the Lebanon/Israeli conflict you might support, or if you wish to address a different conflict in the world.

Here is mine:

Our Father in Heaven, please take care of your precious children, and help us to put aside our grievances, put aside our greed, forgive each other, and act in love and wisdom, the way you have taught us to. In the name of your Son, Jesus. Amen.

Why can't they educate themselves, read more, find the truth and realize that Faux news is nothing but hate-mongering, and is financed by a Clinton-hater who founded the network mostly to have a vent for his venom and vitriol? Why can't anti-Dems and -Libs understand that the real reason they hate us is they envy us? They know we're better educated (Karl Rove SAID so!!!), we're more fun to be around, we're funnier, we live longer lives, we're healthier, we are nicer people, we smell better for the most part, we believe in helping people who are unable to help themselves, giving them a leg up, we believe in higher education for everyone (EVERYONE!) and we believe that "when everyone does better, everyone does better!"
How hard can it be for those people to realize that we are good people? How can they be so frightened of us because Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Oliver North, G. Gordon Liddy, Mike Savage, Don Imus, et al - say we are Satan's spawn? Are they incapable of thought?

Hey man, can't we just have world peace? Why do we have to fight wars, man? Like if we just sat around and did nothing, and showed the terrorists we mean them no harm, they would stop attacking people, right?

Does anyone agree with that?

Hitler looked at the jews in captivity and did not see human beings. As a result of his maniacal evil many of these prisoners were used for medical experimentation, just like the left when ever they see a fetus or an embryo. Many Americans do not want to get into a debate about testing on human beings, but since so many on the left do not object, perhaps you could all tell us in what other ways do you agree with Hitler? Be specific now. You are making such an effort to emulate him.

Of all the embarrassments our country has endured in the eyes of the world, this one bothers me the most. She's the Chancellor of Germany, not a secretary, not a sorority girl. Not that that would make it right, but it wouldn't make the rest of us look as bad. Compounding the embarrassment is the fact that that arm raising move she does to get him to let go is straight out of date-rape prevention class. Check out the creeped out look on her face. What do the rest of you think?

Does anyone agree with me that Pesident Bush's veto on the Stem Cell research bill was a big mistake? I mean c'mon! I had a grandfather who died from alzheimer's disease, and I really wanted to see this bill passed. I think this administrartion is hypocrytical. Cheney was against gay marriage, but suddenly reversed this position when his daughter came out of the closet
