Can't we just have peace?

Hey man, can't we just have world peace? Why do we have to fight wars, man? Like if we just sat around and did nothing, and showed the terrorists we mean them no harm, they would stop attacking people, right?

Does anyone agree with that?

If you did nothing, your throat would be slit, eventually. Whether you are actively opposing regressive extremists who seek to remove any vestige of Judeo-Christian civilization from the face of the Earth, or you just want to chill on your couch, watch SportsCenter or Idol or Skinemax, it doesn't matter. So long as you are not a Wahabi, or you belong to the Christian or Jewish faith or even if you are not of the same Muslim persuasion as your terrorist of the day, you are marked, and you will (without active and forceful defense of yourself at all costs) by slaughtered as an 'infidel'.

You want world peace, you defeat all claimed and suspected enemies without prejudice. Unfortunately, that is how peace is founded and that is how peace lasts, by ensuring those who have no desire to live peacefully alongside you are shown the door.

The terrorists mean harm to you, whether you are with/against/indifferent to them. Understanding that will lead you to your desired path to peace.

You can sit and cower under your bed, but eventually they will come for you too. Remember than comic that hit newspapers in some cities in Europe portraying Mohamed as a terrorist. That was very bad taste and probably shouldn't have been done. But it was a comic! The radical Muslims went nuts burning down buildings and killing people for a piece of newsprint.

There isn't love without hate.... there definitely isn't peace without war. Peace is the ultimate goal and like it or not, it is why we have war. Freedom in our country came at a cost, it wasn't free and it wasn't peaceful but our military knows the cost. For it is them that gave you that right to complain without repercussions today. Hats off to our military and their families for sacrificing their time with their families to make sure we are safe here in the U.S.. Thank God for the Israeli military for also knowing the cost of freedom and standing today to say we have had enough. How much are they expected to take from Iran, Syria, Lebanon Hammas terrorists and others...? Are they just suppose to sit there and take it??? They had enough and I certainly don't blame them.
