“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring 1946 Nuremberg Trials(Nazi)

Sound familiar?

Can someone explain to the families of those soldiers? Please don't say something stupid like "its for democracy". Putin and the whole world laughed at Bush when he said that during G8 (literally laughed).

On average 4 to 5 soldiers will die on a daily basis. This is the price of what exactly?

It seems to me that most Americans, have a very flimsy idea of what has been happening in the Middle-East. I base my statement on the fact that most of those who answer questions regarding the Middle-East portray the fact that Israel has the right to protect itself from its enemies because they are terrorists. I presume they get their information about these matters from TV channels like Fox News, CNN, etc. Well, these channels do not show Americans the atrocities commited by the Jews against innocent civilians, labeled as "a measured" military action.

CHECK OUT WHAT YOU AMERICANS ARE NOT SHOWN ON Fox News, CNN, etc. : I leave it ot your conscience.

Before you cry wolf, I do not support terrorism as a means of achieving any goals, but when you use F16s to destroy innocent civilian lives and a country's infrastructure, well, that's called disproportionate use of force! And this too, is terrorism!!!

The way I see it, I did not vote for him both times he ran for office.I did vote both times and I did not vote for him.So, as long as he is in office, to me, he is just the guy running things badly. But he is not my President. So why should I call him Mr. President or President Bush?I don't feel he has ever done anything that benefited me and I never voted for him.So why should I think of him as anything more then the guy that runs things and caters to those who did vote for him?
I remember that when former President Clinton was in office this same sentiment was in reverse. Those who didn't vote for him acted pretty much the same way and did everything to find a reason to remove him. Now, I give you that he lied about a sexual relationship he had.But that is not my point. My point is, those who hated Clinton acted the same way then about him that I act now about Bush. It's all about who is getting their interests heard and whether or not your vote counted in putting your interests in office
