The way I see it, I did not vote for him both times he ran for office.I did vote both times and I did not vote for him.So, as long as he is in office, to me, he is just the guy running things badly. But he is not my President. So why should I call him Mr. President or President Bush?I don't feel he has ever done anything that benefited me and I never voted for him.So why should I think of him as anything more then the guy that runs things and caters to those who did vote for him?
I remember that when former President Clinton was in office this same sentiment was in reverse. Those who didn't vote for him acted pretty much the same way and did everything to find a reason to remove him. Now, I give you that he lied about a sexual relationship he had.But that is not my point. My point is, those who hated Clinton acted the same way then about him that I act now about Bush. It's all about who is getting their interests heard and whether or not your vote counted in putting your interests in office

Hey fbi3255,

Just so you know, I know he is legally the president. And if I was in school I would know that much. But, thankfully, I have been out of college for years and don't care now about what I need to put on a test.As far as I am concerned he is not MY president regardless of whether or not he happens to hold that title.

You shouldn't have to call him "your" president if you don't want to. I don't agree with people who say you have to stand behind your leader and your government no matter what. That's foolish to think such a thing because that sounds more like a dictatorship than a democratic society. You should never go along or follow a leader who you believe is doing the wrong thing. That's weak.
Bush isn't my president (thank God) and I feel the same way about my Prime Minister.
Bush is the "so called" Leader of the Free World....I live in the free world and I would never refer to him as my leader. So you shouldn't have to refer to him as your pres. if you don't want.

your right i didnt vote for our f*ckwit prime minister in aus and i dont class him as our pm either, rules and laws are made to be broken, and liberty and equality and freedom of thought, speech and opinion, are what give us all the right to think, feel and opinionate in our own way, a president or prime minister are not there to tell us what, they are there to listen to abide by and correct what the people want, they are there to serve the country not the country serve them, they are also supposed to help others as they would their own families, yet none of these leaders for our countries do this job, so why should we make them feel like a higher source in society when they dont represent that way

Bush stole the election by having the Supreme Court ILLEGALLY step in and stop the LEGAL recount it Florida. It was a process for the Legislative branch, and NOT for the judiciary.

you need to repect your country and you govrenment and its almost fair rules. i mean people didnt want him then he would not have won but aparently they did. so u cant say peopel dont liek him. and hes our president for 4 years only. also on a test u get a question saying who is the president of the united state. the true fact answer would be Bush right. so u cant lie to ur self and say his not cause u didnt vote for him. and dotn worry about it its not like his comign after u and causeing negative afects on u and ony u . jsut remember to vote for wat u want, and explain to family or friends why he or she should vote for whom ever and give them nice reason dotn go all propagonda onthem

Using the same logic.

I am human.

I am not your parent.

Therefore, you are not human.

Get over it. "W" still has 2 years and almost 6 months in office. Then you can not like POTUS 44 (Alan Keyes).

"President" is not an honorary title. It's the title of the office that he holds. So he's the President, like it or not. (I don't, either.)
