What for? So we can have another Tasmania-type joke to tell? Like: What do Tasmanian men say to their partner before sex? OK Sis, let's do it like when we were six!! Or is it the one about the guy who was rooting a sheep and a car drives past with the conductor yelling: "you disgusting pig!!" and the Tasmanian guy doing the rooting whispers in the sheep's ear: "It's alright sweetheart, that man can't tell pork from lamb!"

just the name sounds weird, if it does became an Australian State then it should change its name, it sounds like all quines pigs live there, i think things should just remain the way they are the world is in enough confusion at the moment, changing states is the least of the worlds problems

Why?Firstly the question would need to be put.Australia would need to invite PNG to become part of australia.The PNG would then require all its citizens to vote by referendum in joining australia.Don't see any of this happening soon
