He makes excellent points and isn't afraid to voice his opinion, but has become the pinata for Republicans.

I am a little mixed on him.

Let's make this perfectly clear: he has earned a boatload of money for his documentaries, so he's definitely using the media to his advantage.

Aside from that, I think he has turned the documentary film into an art form, whether you like him or not, and has most certainly found an audience for that. I think his message is very efficient, and I believe he will do even more.

That said, all of this has happened more or less during the Bush administration, so it will be hard to tell what he'll come up with once he is no longer in office.

All said, I think he's an interesting character, and it wouldn't be a bad idea if the US had more of his kind.

I think that he is the embodiment of this country, not by the things he talks about or the things he makes films about, but the fact that he makes them and shows us just how great this country is by having "freedom of speech". We can say whatever we want and comment on whatever we want... Thats what makes this country so grand... and if we dont fix what is happening we might not have that freedom anymore that so many women and men in other countries dont have.... Michael Moore is a person who speaks his mind, and you have to have an appreciation for a person who goes out and stands up for his beliefs and isnt afraid to show it to the world and be either applauded for it or ridiculed for it... and thats what America is all about

He had something 2 say that upset some people but gave others a voice.
He believes what he's doing is right & speaking up 4 the Lil Guy.
I have admiration 4 him 2 stand up 4 something that he thought was wrong & is still wrong.
But with Israel busy blasting the Hell outta of its neighbours, Iraq isn't at the Top of the Agenda, is it?

I have never met him. I have never spoken with him. I do not believe all that I read or see. Therefore, how could I form a reasonable or general opinion of him?

This is what I do not understand about the American public. Where do they get their information from to form their opinions? Are they sources to be trusted? Where did their sources get this information?

He has some good ideas, but falls short on the facts. Also doesn't consider the other side at all. Like talking about how President Bush chose his friends as advisors. Who else would he choose? Now don't get me wrong, I don't like the sitting President.

I wouldn't consider him an honest journalist, but he does know how to focus on people's fears/opinions that may not get covered otherwise. He knows how to make money.
