Undoubtedly we are a vibrant, intelligent and smart race, sadly these days we see our nation being ruled by goons, looted by antinationals, dominated by offensively rude people and repeadely raped by any tom **** or harry who has some office of power. The police, politicians, the judiciary all seems so malignantly corrupt and rotten. We constantly seem pushed to the wall fighting for genuine simple needs, while the media and press is dominated again by sleaze and corrupt hooligans who are again in the pay rolls of the evil masters. Social fabric seems broken with Indian values and age old tradition and unity and happiness sounding long lost and alien. We forget our worries temporarily by immersing ourselves in cheap movies and entertainment and later elevate the movie stars to the post of super gods and in some cases rulers of the land..... we are impotent when we seen brazen terrorists at work but preach secularism to our kids....What is the remedy and cure for this filthy life?

press conference by the Lebanese Pm, of yesterday, July 15th.
The PM went on to say, Israel has no legal course to attack Lebanon.

I disagree, the Lebanese GOVT is fully aware, that over 35 members of their parliment are hezbollah members, known Terrosists. The Lebanase govt is also aware of the full agenda of the Hazbollah . The Lebanese gvot has dismanteled other terrorists group, except the Hezbollah.

So who are they kidding? The Govt is promoting the terrorists, and are directly responsible for the actions of the Hazebollah, the attacks on Israel by the Hazelbollah rockets .given to them by Iran or syria, Hazebollah's kidnappings of the Israeli soliders are all acts of war....

So who woudl diagree with this? that Lebanese govt has no backbone.

Could the Isreali Government (with US backing, of course) be engaging hezbollah knowing that Iran is connected to Hezbollah....eventually giving a certain Country (ahem....USA) a "legitimate" reason to "attack" Iran should Iran decide to become involved....How convenient......what do you think.

This morning Tony Blair decided to make his 'statement' about what's going on in the Middle East and once again he's sticking with buddy George (who's got him into a right mess in Iraq) and saying that the reason Lebanon are firing rockets at Israel is because they are being backed by Syria and Iran! It wouldn't be anything to do with that family who got blown up on a beach or the constant bombing of Gaza and now Beirut.

Israel is just a 'legitimate' terrorist. Instead of suicide bombers, they are allowed to bomb and kill infront of the world and no one does a thing to stop them.

It really makes me sick that no one ever tells Israel to pack it in! I know Israelies who think what their 'country' is doing is disgusting. Because at the end of the day, they are the one's who suffer.

If the Israel - Palestine conflict was sorted I think the West would be surprised at what this would do to the 'terrorist' situation.

I don't fear terrorism, I feared the IRA more.

It's sick, I hear some news stations claiming that Israel is blaming Iran for Hezbollah firing Katyusha rockets. It's insane, they're finally trying to invent a reason to attack Iran. How insane are things getting now? Is the goal of our government to bankrupt America or something and ruin our future and global reputation?

Are people seriously buying this garbage out there? I would hope not...I have had too much proof recently the government takes my hard-earned money and blows it on pork and war like a rapper at a rim shop!

I wish this crap would stop and America would return to sanity...please do not support a war against Iran...we can't afford it in more ways than one.

Please be original...don't mention Bush or Republicans, at least as a singular source. I'm sure her puckered vistage didn't find it's roots with George W. exclusively. She just always seems so angry. Poor soul. (BTW..sorry if I misspelled her name. Don't come unglued and accuse me disrespectful, for crying out loud. I doubt most would get my last name right, either! LOL)

I think they are full of baloney and abuse this freedom talk for their own agenda. People are prosecuted and harassed in the news media and in everyday life for matters which should be protected under the Bill of Rights. There is more and more "fine print" that completely usurps the rights clearly stated in the Constitution. Then our country goes overseas and tries to tell other nations what to do. We selectively involve ourselves in the affairs we can profit from, while others like Darfur we ignore. What's worse is, the news gets involved and fans the flames!

Since when did stupid North Korea become a huge problem to us? Iran? What the hell are these people going to do to America, send their fishing boats...which will probably run out of gas near Fiji anyways?

My most important question is...when is the United States government going to start caring about United States citizens? That's what I want to know...peace...

this is something that i can not understand. after WW1 the west, mainly england and the US, gives palestinian land that was under british occupation to the jews to establish the state of israel. the palestinian people and their land went from a british occupation to an israeli occupation. in the process GOD knows how many thousands have been killed and more had to leave their homecountry and lands to live as refugees until this day. in their place thousands of jewish immigrants came from europe and the rest of the world to live on ARAB land and make israel what it is.
i still cant understand what gave the west and the jewish people the right to do so?
u might say this was a long time ago. does that make it OK?
u might say its israel "GOD given land". in that case, who truly is the religious extremist?

American dominance has proved extremly violant for the world and its fast decline may usher the world into a peaceful and prosperous future. Hence there is a need to give serious thought to the means to achieve fast American decline, by peaceful means for the welfare of the whole world.
