It's sick, I hear some news stations claiming that Israel is blaming Iran for Hezbollah firing Katyusha rockets. It's insane, they're finally trying to invent a reason to attack Iran. How insane are things getting now? Is the goal of our government to bankrupt America or something and ruin our future and global reputation?

Are people seriously buying this garbage out there? I would hope not...I have had too much proof recently the government takes my hard-earned money and blows it on pork and war like a rapper at a rim shop!

I wish this crap would stop and America would return to sanity...please do not support a war against Iran...we can't afford it in more ways than one.

hotrod, you are such a moron. Why the hell would a bunch of Arabs give a damn about what America does 1000's of miles away?

Obviously, we are imposing our ways on them. We're the ones that are there. I think Islam is a crazy religion and lifestyle, but it's our interference in their life that is bringing all this trouble to the states. The US has nothing to fear from them...for obvious reasons...there obviously is more to the story than you realize.

It's not about freedom, it's about money!

To smartasswhip...you tell me how Iran and the rest of the Middle East are going to do anything to America. We (I live in America, btw) have all the weapons and money to dispatch them. They...have...tugboats...camels? How the hell are these people going to get here and pose a real threat to me?

We can ignore them all day long like Shaq did to Mugsy Bogues...they would be insane to attack America.

Obviously, there is an alterior agenda here, don't you think? I read a letter from the Iranian president to the United States recently...a very rational and well-written one too. If you didn't know who wrote it, you might have thought it came from a diplomat at the UN with a nobel peace prize.

Don't buy the propaganda.

Well I don't support the war against Persia... Although I have the same views as you. It is so obvious what they are going, blame Persia for supplying the "terrorists" weapons, and create a gr8 excuse for another middle eastern war. Which may cause world war 3.
I'm not buying the crap that the news is reporting.... Things are getting really insane... all this is about power.... And the Americans and the Uk have stopped th UN from getting involved even though all the other countries (France, Germany, russia..etc) have called for them to put a stop to this bombing...

Nobody wants war. But what do you do when you have an totally insane person in control of a country with nukes? (I'm talking about Iran). He's said publicly that he wants to annihilate Israel, and that the Holocaust did not happen. What are we suppose to do? All the UN will do is recommend sanctions and resolutions that Iran will not follow, giving them more time to make nukes. And then after 5 years of worthless sanctions, Iran will have had the time to make all the nukes they want. Sometimes war is the only solution.

Read the news. Log on to the Drudge Report, the Washington Post, the New York Times. Read some columns on Townhall.com and Opinion Journal.com. The situation in the Middle East is grave, and it's a situation that is in its entirety generated by Islamic radicals.

We are reaping the entirely predictable rewards from weakness the West has shown toward the mad mullahs who run Iran, and the grotesque gargoyle calling the shots in North Korea. Islamic jihadists grow bolder and more deadly with every day that passes. They fire rockets into Israel neighborhoods --- Israel responds --- and the American press carefully and methodically catalogues the number of civilians killed as Israel defends itself.

It's war, folks. It's the culture of the West, the culture of freedom and religious tolerance, vs. the hate-filled and violent culture of radical Islam. We aren't going to negotiate ourselves out of this one. We aren't going to be able to use our vast wealth to buy peace. Negotiations will show weakness. Money will bring contempt.

Radical Islam must be destroyed. Squashed. The repugnant virus of radical Islam and all of the Islamic terrorists who seek to spread it must be eliminate from the face of the earth. Time to start

I hate it when people ignorantly blame everything on islamic-radicals (not the asker)! What happened is Israel is holding many Palestenian prisoners for years, so Hamas kidnapped one Israelie soldier in order to negotiate for this. So Israel as usual didn't want negotiations and attacked Palestine. Hezbollah in Lebanon in defense for this, they kidnapped 2 Israelie soldiers and offerend further negotiations to trade hostages. So Israel again attacked Lebanon and the situation is what we see now.
So the guy above who said that it's because of western culture and eastern culture differences... what cultures have to do with this? These are pure military actions!! So stop being ignorant.

In answer to the question, well... our tax money is in Iraq anyway, and the return from oil there is in Halliburton. USA can't attack Iran and that's why Bush and Rice are searching for allies everywhere. Also North Korea is raising the middle finger and Bush is pretending that he can't see it.

So don't worry, we can't attack Iran... we're not as powerful as we pretend we are.

Are you from Iran? If so I can see how your love of your country could blind you to the truth. The Muslim terrorists that are trying to destroy this country, Israel, and trying to dominate the world;
are not only supported by the countries that they operate out of,
they are arms of those countries. It is not only Hamas, Hezbollah,
the PLO and other Muslim terrorist organizations that are trying to destroy us; It is Syria controlled Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Jordan, and (until we sent troops there) Iraq.

Neither President Bush or anyone else wants to invade Iran. But since the ruler of Iran wants to destroy us, How can we let them
acquire nuclear weapons? Certainly the terrorists that Iran supports would use them against us!

I don't know what world you live in, but it's not in the real world.

Hezbollah is a client of Iran and they must be neutralized before we can take out Iran.

It's that simple!
